About Sierra and Stephen IRL
Hey friends! I’m Sierra Schultzzie and this is my vlog channel with my husband, Stephen. We started vlogging 5 years ago to document planning our wedding and growing together as a young married couple, and the channel has now really become our passion project. We love creating travel vlogs, disneyland vlogs, showing behind the scenes of creating my fashion and lifestyle videos, and all the little ups and downs of our unfiltered, real life. I have a large family of my own and generally find mom-content boring because I’ve been living it so long. Sierra’s mom life absolutely charms me though. I adore this happy family.
I know you put leggings in the diaper bags and they are great. But I found with summer a pair of shorts to add in was life saving, with Southern California weather. I also added a pair of swim bottoms as parks have little water areas to play and cool off. I also added a small towel and sunscreen. I had a hat and sunglasses as well. Yeah the empty plastic bag is a must.
Graces little waves are the little serotonin boosts I need every time I see them 😊🥰
Loved the diaper bag redo :) pro tip: put the sunscreen in a sealed plastic bag! They tend to leak.
Hey Sierra, one thing I'd definitely recommend for the diaper bags for summer is Wet Bags. Especially if you're doing water things but they're also AMAZING for accidents. And they're washable and water proof. I'd still keep the plastic bag for REALLY bad accidents ❤️
If it was a real gross mess I use to put in plastic bag then the wet bag! You don't have to worry about smells and super yucky clean up!
Beego is a great small business for wetbags, they have adorable fabrics and a bunch of types of reusable pouches and bags!!

See her before you plant your ceilings in the ground, look up information on cut worm collars. Cut worms can just mow off your ceilings and you walk out when we you’ll see them all laying flat in the ground cut off from the steps the cut worm colors are wrapping in paper about inter above an an inch below ground level so that they cut them kids the paper but can’t get through to your tender little stems and ruin your whole gardening experience.. Hope that helps happy gardening😊

They actually sell wet bags that are more sustainable and you just throw them in the wash and clean them versus the plastic bags. We have a 2 pack off Amazon!

I can’t wait to update my diaper bag for my 7 month baby in a month or so. Thing is, its April and unexpectedly got colder and snowing (#WesternCanada), we didn’t get much of a Spring this year 😭 love the videos and Gracie’s development. She is so so precious. I love by the way, that you take on so many beautiful hobbies: Rocks, gardening, pottery in the horizon 👀 i cant wait to see Grace join you in these activities when she is able to 🥰

i wonder if the picnic mat would work for when i'm transporting puppies from kill shelters to rescue,foster,forever home ....puppies under a certain age are NO PAWS on the ground ....i could put a puppy pee pad on it so they could potty...it would also give them a bit of walking room ...def going to buy one

I feel like I don’t bring anything with me now! I have a almost 5 year old and a newly turned 2 year old! Both boys! I just downsized our diaper bag, since we don’t need bottles or milk to bring with us anymore. I have diapers, wipes, extra underwear for the oldest, usually PJs for them both, some pads/tampons for me because you just never know lol and sun screen/bug spray/diaper cream. That’s honestly it. Day of I may toss in a couple snacks if we’re gonna be out really long. But since they can both use straws now I don’t even bring Sippy cups. The ziplock bag or even a old grocery bag is the best tip! I did that when my son was first potty training since you never know when there may be a accident!

Sierra! Where are Grace’s Sun hats from? They’re perfect!
Keep the diapers, clothes and burp cloths in the plastic bag so if anything spills in the bag, they don’t get wet- than you can also use for any big messes :)

Your tomato seedlings are starting to look a bit leggy... I would start thinking about hardening them off and allowing them to get direct sunlight, natural wind to strengthen and if no freezing nights in your forecast than to plan them out very soon!
Love your videos and have subscribed to both channels for years. Just a suggestion- since Grace is older turn her around in her stroller so she is facing forward and won't have to twist around to see.

I use a roll of doggy bags for dirty diapers and dirty clothes. Works perfect.

My friend keeps a roll of the dog poo bags in her diaper bag so that if they have to change a diaper and there's no where to put it or if their baby soils her clothes or get them wet, they can pop it in there
I think my baby is messier than yours. We have packed 3 outfits in her diaper bag since she was born (she's 2 now) and we definitely go through them 😅
I babysit my niece a lot and definitely glad my brother overpacks outfits. She's very messy 🤣

Along with the ziplock bag, we keep dog poop bags in the bag for the times we need to throw away a stinky diaper and don't want to stink up someones house.
