The Majority of textures and sounds in this video AND the available demo have been extracted from the Nintendo 64 Evangelion Game and modified to work within the Doom engine.
Due to popular demand, the project is now planned for a Total Conversion and Gameplay Modification, re-creating scenes, locations and battles as seen in the original series! Keep an eye on the Mod DB page for updates!

This looks really awesome. I'm a huge Doom and Eva fan. I'm rather experienced in 3D modelling and stuff like that and have some nice Eva rigs set up. If you ever needed sprites rendered in a 3D style or anything like that, I could certainly lend a hand.

Honestly I'd play the hell out of an Evangelion themed Doom/Quake/Unreal/Half-Life mod. As soon as a I saw the Positron Rifle and was immediately reminded of the Railgun/ASMD Shock Rifle, that's when my itch for a NGE shooter started.

I downloaded it but it's a rar file and I can't get it to run in GZdoom. I normally always can get mods/wads to run but not sure how this one works. Maybe it doesn't work now since all the comments here and on moddb that got it to run are ~2 years old.

Pull out the wad file and drag and drop it into the GZDOOM executable. Quickest and easiest.
