I have been working as quality assurance for the assembly of the CSeries since 2011 and I am (and we all are) feeling so proud of this aircraft. I've worked on the first units for testing till now… almost 80 units. We are so proud of this aircraft and we are also grateful that the torch has been passed to Airbus in order to keep our baby alive. Thanks for the great review… Keep up the good work…

And THIS is why Boeing tried to ruin Bombardier and the rollout of this plane.
They knew this plane would dominate the regional / short to mid-range market since they had no current plane to match it in passenger comfort, amenities, and technological advancement.
On behalf of Canada, we hope you guys enjoy this amazing piece of Canadian innovation and are delighted to have this plane become part of more Airline fleets for many years to come.

Being a retired airline Capt at United I have to admit this Airbus 220 is the right airplane for many MANY routes. Even though Ive flown Boeing's for I acknowlege this airplane makes better sense then what Boeing has to offer for short haul routes. The 737 is to much of a "sardine" can and this 220 seems to offer a lot more comfort so I give this airplane a thumbs UP. Wake UP United this IS the future!

In January this year, I was fortunate to get on this plane unexpectedly in Fayetteville, NC to ATL laying over there. Most were shocked getting on in Fayetteville, being it's a small regional airport. There was a 35 min delay while everyone was on. The pilot apologized, and announced that the baggage handlers loading, didn't have any experience loading these newer planes (use to small regional planes), and told passengers he'll be making a call to ATL to have Delta trainers go to Fayetteville to train. He also explained the importance of being balanced. I can recall hearing bags being tossed around, being pulled out, tossed, etc.... I could tell the handlers were frustrated, but the pilot again announced the plane isn't leaving until loading is correct. My final destination was Daytona Beach on a regional plane. When arriving, went to baggage claim, and seen my suitcase all beat up, torn pocket, a missing zipper, and the handle was ripped apart. Filed a claim through Delta, and received a refund for damages a couple days later. Other than that, this plane was awesome! A smooth quiet take off, and smooth quiet landing. I have a picture of this plane that I took that morning arriving in ATL I'd show you all, but not sure if I can attach pics here.

I really like how delta made a big deal about the A220 inaugural flight. In contrast American Airlines didn't really care with there 737 max Inaugural flight. Plus its amazing how well Delta takes care of there planes. They buy old planes at a discount and transformation them to almost like brand new. I'm willing to bet if American had placed an order for the A220 it whouldn't look as nice as Deltas they would cut back on the seats and keep the plane looking like a flying buss.

Props to you Q for another great review. Ummm are you sure about the tablecloth comment? I just flew LAX/ORD/MIA on AA last week ( million miler with them) and both flights we had tablecloths and cloth napkins). Also over the past two years, American Airlines’ management has been obsessed with fleet simplification - from retiring older aircraft types (like the MD-80) to ditching smaller aircraft types (Embraer E190s) and “harmonizing” aircraft seat arrangements on all of its other aircraft. Indeed, simplification was a significant reason behind American Airlines cancelling its Airbus A350 order and doubling-down on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner in its place. AA’s goal is to reduce its aircraft types and unique seating arrangements from 52 different sub-fleets to just 30 sub-fleets by 2022. I think United is doing the same. Makes sense no? Keep up the fantastic work 👍🏻

It's so quiet because it uses Pratt & Whitney's geared turbofan engines. They offer double-digit savings in fuel burn, emissions and noise.

Great looking new aircraft. I don't see why passengers wouldn't like a no bulkhead zone being that the passengers behind 1st class will have stowage space under the last row of 1st class.

Bulkheads are like non pivoting luggage bins, thoroughly obsolete
