Beautiful lady you will be missed. You were a bright light in the lives of many. Prayers for your family, your children and all who have subscribed to your list. Your inspiration will continue to live on. I have survived cancer and know first hand the brutality of treatment. May you shine your blessings from the other side.

This is a tutorial that I had never seen before that Melanie had made I searched RUclips for a jewelry pouch and this came up. She was one of my favorite go-to's for tutorials. I miss not having new tut's from her.

I think this is wonderful! I only wish I had taken the time to watch these videos earlier. But it wasn’t in God’s timing. My mom assed away in July of 2019 but I was not able to get her sewing machine until this past summer due to Covid travel restrictions. Maybe this is meant to be! I can watch all of Melanie’s sewing and quilting tutorials and help her family in some small way. I thank my mom and my home economics class many years ago for teaching me how to sew. It’s been a while but I remember more than I think when I watch Melanie’s videos. I did, after all, sew clothes for my 4 kids. But, if I’m being totally honest, sewing wrap around skirts for myself , was my favorite! I was young and thin then! 😂.
My mom had special labels made for my sister and I. Did I mention my sister is older? Lol. A little levity goes a long way! I look forward to to setting up mom’s machine and watching Melanie’s videos and taking her online classes. God bless you Melanie and your beautiful family? Continued prayers and support. 💗💗🙏🙏

Just sew the big one shut and cut the inside side in the middle with a little criss-cross and turn. The small circle is going to cover it anyway.
Love the little pouch, thank you pot the tutorial.

This is so cute!! I can't wait to make some in a bigger size for my nieces! I love the way you teach! Two ideas I'd like to see... quilted pillows, like envelope pillows, a large quilt square made into a pillow. And crochet slippers. :-) I'll watch anything though... really.

I made this, it came our nicely and it hides any little imperfections. But I did find it hard to cut the little hole and cut through the back, as the fray glue stuck to both layers!
