He's the greatest quarterback to ever throw the football. He's a sniper. Listen, someone comes up to you, doesn't tell you the name of the player, and goes "17 seasons, 7 playoff appearances, 0 superbowl apperances, but he is top 5 in TDs + and pass yards". Are you really saying "That's a HOF"?. I'm a random guy on youtube, but personally, I don't see that as a HOF. More than 50% of the time, he missed the playoffs. He put up numbers, but that's REGULAR SEASON, without winning. To me, it's like a guy putting up 25ppg in the NBA on a losing team. Who really cares if your not making the playoffs? Yeah your stats look good, but you aren't winning. Football is of course different with all the other factors that go along. But if you are a HOF quaterback, that honor is suppose to be, ONE OF THE BEST TO DO IT. You are ELITE!.. I mean, you can make the playoffs more than 7 times. I know guys in the HOF have worse careers then rivers, and truth be told, they SHOULDN'T be in the HOF. It needs to change. HOF too me, is Stats + Winning. When you look at careers of HOF players, you are amazed by what they did. Rivers doesn't do that. @Yellow Flash take away the Super Bowls the only thing Eli ever lead in was INT . All the great QB with a ring 💍 you take it away they can back it up with stats , Eli can’t even come close . A 50/50 win loss record , 84% passer rating , 60.3% comp . He will most likely get in because he’s a Manning and he has two rings but other than that I mean 🤷‍♂️ . I don’t think rivers should be in it , but if Eli gets in he should definitely get in at some point .

    • @lupemendoza25
      @lupemendoza25 3 года назад

      @Yellow Flash so you think just because you got rings you deserve to go to the hall of fame ? So you think Difler , Flaco, Foles , and Johnson should be in the HOF ? They have rings ? Theres a lot of QBs that don’t have a single ring but they can back it up statistically and those who do can also back it up with stats . Like I said I don’t think rivers should be in no hall of fame but if Eli gets in just because of his name and rings then rivers should definitely get in at some point .

      You mean when he got the ball with a minute left and only needed a fg and did absolutely nothing with it? The end of the Bills/Colts game summed up his entire career. He was a really good qb, but when it came to crunch time, he was very mediocre. Remember the Chiefs game years ago, when the Chargers were inside the 20 and all they had to do was kick a chip shot to win the game? And he fumbled the snap and lost the ball. He did not make HOF plays down the stretch of games.
