Hello, I have a 3 month old lab mix. She had diarrhea with blood and was throwing up everything which I took her to the vet same day. I’m giving her IV fluids and keeping her hydrated as well. She isn’t throwing up blood but it is bile and her diarrhea today wasn’t with blood. She doesn’t have appetite but she does get really thirsty as well. Another thing is that she wouldn’t move as much yesterday but today she is more active but still lethargic. Any suggestions on how to treat her? Please I need help.

Its not compulsory that there will be blood in vomition and stool in the initial days. Just trust your doctor and follow his guidelines, everything will be fine. Don't worry.

Drips should be given atleast twice daily.
My dog survived from parvo, i gave him pan IV fluid, raptocep tazo, and medicine for stop diarrhea and vomiting, later gave him zymopet and immunosky.. Which makes him totally healthy... Stop his vomit and Diarheaa, make him drink. Water so that he don't get dehydrate and important thing try to keep him alive as long as you could

On 27th april I lost my 6.5 year old German shepherd due to chronic kidney disease ( it was very difficult for me to handle the pain after 4 days ( i decided to get a new family member ) he is also a Gsd I got him on 1st may and now it’s his 6th day in his new home and he is iinfected with parvo now he is just 40 days old we have started the canglop P for him we are also going to give him drips for next 7 days (twice a day) hope he will be fine now , I just want to ask you that is there anything else we can do for him apart from that Canglop p which is already started !

Is recovering
Recovery don't start instantaneously. It takes time. There are chances that blood can again come in stool. Try to give him drips twice a day.

We miss him as he was like a kid for us... We hv tried our best to save him.. I dn know y doctors refused to give drip after 1st day... they were like no need of drip now... you can give him liquid..... 2nd day injections given ... after that he started shivering and died in 3-4 hours

At this particular age survival chances are less but that doesn't mean dogs don't survive. Just give your 100% and leave rest on god.

It's highly variable, as younger puppies have less survival rate. As a whole, we would say 80 - 90%

In case the last vaccine given was a annual booster then you don't have to worry.

Doctor ne bola hai ki kuch khane peene nhi dena hai, vo paani pass ja rha hai, pr strictly mana kiya hai, kya iska koi reason hai?

hlo sir mera dog 2 din se kuch kha nhi rha tha nd boht kam active tha abhi 2 din se usne khana band kardiya hain he was vomotting too nd uska potty bhi smell karha tha uska abhi and ajj uska 2 nd day pe 1 st time blood aya potty se usko abhi mere vet ne injections diye hain nd ussey abhi saline wagera laganey se mana kiya hain but now he can move but abhi filhal kuch kha nhi rha nd potty bhi same hain nd uska ajj se bloody potty hua hain so there is chance that can he survive filhal dekha jaye toh woh thora boht active hain agar ussey force kiya jaye toh pls sir reply kki uska condition shi hain? can she survive parvo uska treatment chal rha filhal thnku if u reply me

Sir I've a labrador..she is 8th month old & all his vaccines are completed ...now before 4 days he stopped eating food...and start vomiting yellow foam..here in my areas the dr are not too soo good.. usne 3 injection lagaye.. within 5 min usne blood stool kiya first time..usse phele potty normal the sir vomiting ho rahe the..within half hour after injection. she started his all activities & start eating after then all normal for 1 day then suddenly.. usne dubara khana chod diya..aur vomiting aur bloody stools anne lage..next day we went to hospital..first doctor said gastrointestinal problem..when he sees the potty colour ..then he said it's parvo..& start treatment fluid antibiotics & some other injection ..but he fluid only 1 time in a day..today our 2nd night...with pet..I can't sleep properly vomiting yellow fluid Continuously in every 1 hr...plz sir suggest me what I'll do next..bcoz I never want to loss her in any conditions...m from jammu & kashmir..m not too much rich..plz sir suggest me where I got antibiotics serum...
