Just lovely, Lance. Question: were you able to try the flute with the split E and compare it to the high E facilitator? I’m wondering how the difference feels to you?

Great question! I was not able to try the same flute with split-e and facilitator. However, I have played on all configurations in the past (nothing, facilitator, split-e). Facilitator is significantly easier than nothing at all. Split-E is definitely a lot clearer and easier than facilitator but the biggest difference for me is between having something vs. nothing for the high E. Hope that helps!

Great review. The flute sounds wonderful but I'll bet you could get a great sound out of a tomato can. lol
