Thank you guys for watching! I hope you guys got something out of it! Again, this was a completely made up report sheet so some things may or may not be accurate (protocols may vary depending on the hospital), but it's just to give you guys a general idea.
Let me know in the comments what questions you may have regarding the subject of report (taking and receiving report)
I have more videos to come for you guys so stay tuned! Follow me on Instagram and subscribe if you haven't already so you don't miss out! 💛

That was so helpful! Thank you! I start my first nursing job next week and always struggle with which report/brain sheet I like. I have made my own brains throughout nursing school but I think I will try the first one when I start!
Loved it!!! Thank u so much definitely will use the folding sheets. very organized
this was so incredibly helpful!!! thank you so so so much for sharing!
Actual layout starts at 9:43. Some good tips in the beginning.
I love this, thanks for sharing! By the way, your makeup is STUNNING.
I’m a new grad and I found this extremely helpful! I’ll be starting a new grad RN position and will utilize this. Can you please make a video on giving report? I feel that’s an area I’d like to work on but I’m curious as to how other nurses do it without being all over the place lol
Thanks
So glad you liked it!!! Yes, I’m making a video on tips for giving/receiving report!! 😉
This was super helpful. TYSM!
Thank you! It was great
I really appreciate this video. Im about to be off orientation and I am really not looking forward to all my future mistakes. I think this brain sheet may help though so thank you.
This is the most helpful video i’ve ever seen for report sheets!!
Ah I'm so happy to hear that!! 😊
Your makeup is really makeup artist level!
This is amazing and also the reality of it seems freaking overwhelming
Our professors boot camped us on rotations that when I had to give them report i was so frazzled
I’m worried about this part girl!!

thejoolzi thank you so much!! Yes I like that too! I think it’s so fascinating 🤓
I found this video extremely helpful. I'm definitely going to try out these new methods the next time I go into work. Can you do a video on giving report and time management during the day. I've been on the floor for a couple of months and I still find myself struggling with time management skills during my shift. Thank you so much for posting
So glad this was helpful to you!! Thanks for the video suggestions! ☺️💛
Very orgnized and helpful! Thanks

Good Job...
More nursing videos please!
yessss! 💉☺️
I’m in nursing school and just completed my first semester and first set of clinicals and this would’ve been so helpful if I would’ve seen this before the semester started. This is be a great template to use when second semester starts. Thank you so much. Love your videos.
Ah that's so awesome you found this helpful! Thanks for watching! 😊
I wanna go into nursing as well, do you have time to work as well or is there no room in a typical nursing students schedule?
I love your video! I’m a telemetry nurse. Love your watch. What watch are you wearing?
I would love to see what you put on the other side of the little booklet
What computer system do you use and how do you get the main info on your first sheet, you said it prints out?
Please more nursing videos
Great brain sheet! Thank you. Do you use the same brain sheet a few days in a row since you already have all of the pt info and history on it? Would you pencil in daily info on your accu checks and add to labs and tests etc. Thank you in advance.
Besides all the rambling at the beginning, great vid
How long were you in PCU???
When you worked on the PCU, how did you organize it when you had a new admission in the middle of your shift? Or did it not change much?
Lashanda Coq great question! I regret not including this in the video. I didn’t even think of it! So what I would do is take out the staple, remove my assignment sheet from the stack of papers, add the new patient’s sheet behind the last patient, and then place the assignment sheet behind the new patient. Then I would staple it all back together. Sorry if that was confusing! Basically, I’d take it apart, add my new patient between the last patient and my assignment sheet and then staple it back up. I would do this once or twice a shift, more or less depending on discharges and admissions. Hopefully that made sense! LMK
Priscilla Desiree That makes sense! Thank you!
Where are your ring bands and watch from? 🤪
Rings are from amazon by the brand Rinfit and the watch is by Jord watches
Thank you for sharing this! :p If your shift started at 7pm, when did you come in to start filling in your brain sheet? im sorry if you've answered this question already :p
Around 6:30 am. It gave me a pretty good time window and worked for me at least :)
@@PriscillaDesiree Thanks for replying back :)
How many patients at a time did you use to have working in the ICU?
most times 4-6
@@PriscillaDesiree In an ICU? That's insanity. That's how many patients I take on telemetry. When I'm on stepdown I only get 3. I thought ICU was always 1-2 patients.
4-6 in the icu??? pcu yes, icu no. i thought you're supposed to only be doubled or tripled and rarely quadded in the icu
Watch out for Docs who steal pens!
TheNip Tuck omg 😂 soooo true! I know somebody out there...
3min in, I fell asleep watching this.
Might be useful to get to the point. Ain't nobody, especially nurses, got time fo dat.
