  • Here’s an “on-the-fly” video I made detailing how I set up my shift sheet or “brain.” I’ve been an ICU RN for 6 years now, an RN for 8 years total, & have fine tuned this bad lad to the perfect sheet for my shift.

    think this will apply well for ICU if you have 1-2 pts but not on the wards when you have 4+ pts

      You can separate it into 4-5 patients, but it really doesn’t work well for over 5 patients. I just make more horizontal lines if I’m taking over 2 patients and it works just as well! I will usually only put 4 max on the sheet, though. Once I hit 4, I make another sheet.
