Nursing “brain” shift organizer fine tuned over 8 years of being an RN
Просмотров 3,3 тыс.3 года назад
Here’s an “on-the-fly” video I made detailing how I set up my shift sheet or “brain.” I’ve been an ICU RN for 6 years now, an RN for 8 years total, & have fine tuned this bad lad to the perfect sheet for my shift.

There is no reason for a competent interviewer to ask you "why should I hire you?" The only people who will ask you this question are either required to ask it no matter what or they are not engaged in your interview.

For sure. Not all interviewers are created equal.

Can you make about your basic technique in assessing specific body system?

think this will apply well for ICU if you have 1-2 pts but not on the wards when you have 4+ pts

You can separate it into 4-5 patients, but it really doesn’t work well for over 5 patients. I just make more horizontal lines if I’m taking over 2 patients and it works just as well! I will usually only put 4 max on the sheet, though. Once I hit 4, I make another sheet.

I like your system. Hope you can make about your assessment technique in each system. God Bless
