1:52, the reason those words are darker (bolder) is because they're referencing or quoting the old testament. That's one of the cool features of a CSB bible.

I hope to get the handcrafted edition of this bible rebound someday! It's simply beautiful. Definitely a big fan of that Bible Serif font from 2K Denmark
The Handcrafted and leather soft edition have the same exact printing, only difference is the Handcraft has Red Accents through out.
@@frostLeatherI think the handcrafted is a black letter edition only, whereas the leather soft is a red letter only.
If that didn’t bother folks either way, then it’s worth getting the leather soft for the rebind. I’ve got the genuine leather thinline and it’s a really nice Bible for the money (around £50). I’ve also got the blue leather soft large print and it’s a very nicely put together Bible for a very good price. Ultimately, they’re printed and produced to be read and that phrase “a Bible that’s falling apart shows a life that isn’t” is true whether it’s a modern CSB leather soft or an expensive rebind.
Your work looks excellent though, great job and that is a Bible for life right there.
FYI: Steve Siegel told me that you can wet Sokoto leather to straighten it and make it more of a matte finish.
Ive tried this method, only issue is after you do this, the leather becomes very dry, and unworkable for bible rebinding :/
I actually prefer the standard CSB embossing. The CSB is a great translation for narrative and didactic passages. But it doesn't capture poetry well, as they sacrificed elegance (cadence) for accuracy and readability. Understandable, but still, for the Psalms in particular, less than ideal.
Seems like any translation we use, there are down falls, thankful we have many to immerse ourselves with!

Nice job. Unfortunately Chant will never happen again. Not only do they only focus on non bible related things, the people who worked on the bible side no longer work for Chant. One in particular retired. So even if Chant worked for Allan again it wouldn't be the same. This came directly from Ian :( I hope you keep doing bibles Jeremiah. Your work is always a pleasure to see.

Leathersoft is weaksauce!!! NASB goatskin, preacher's Bible. The Brick is the best!
This is kind of a silly comment. Compared with the imitation leather of the past, as well as modern bonded leather, the modern "leathersofts" are pretty great. A lot of people can't afford a premium rebind, so $20 to $30 for a leathersoft is an amazing option for the majority of buyers. Rebinds are a luxury item.
Would not use it. HCSB was a much better translation.
the problem with your view on tongues is that in the true scriptures tongues is always and only referred to as known tongues. tongues meaning languages. That is one of the issues for there so called translations. We can get into a debate on the Greek but you will be wrong again.
