Used to walk around that area for hours and hours. It was so peaceful. Except by the bus station. I literally used to walk in the desert for hours . Beautiful and majestic and mysterious. I got to know my true inner self in tucson.
I grew up in Tucson 24 years I can see the downtown area has had a makeover the last 10 years, also seems the angle of the sun must be earlier in the morning, doesn’t feel like a 112 degrees yet😉
Really, really, really appreciate that you are a walking tour youtube. So many do these speeded up vehicle tours which don't give you time to see anything, really. Anyway, also appreciate your little paragraphs which appear and that you leave them up long enough to read them! Thanks.!

Feeling of boredom, fake two face pushovers and ignorance. I like Rising Phoenix Gym on Speedway, the rest of the town is trash. And OMG it's trash. Trash everywhere.
Tucson is a calm and quite city , although by now it has developed a lot. I had been to a restaurent relished Lobster and hot soup. Mount Lemon is another attractive place to observe the city at night.
I was born and raised in Tucson AZ I really enjoyed the video, you brought back some good old memories. I was actually born two blocks from where you started off the video.

Im living van life right now and Oohh, i can't wait till I get here! I love this town, and yes it's still a town (thnk goodness. My 1st. Time here i was 9 yrs old fell in love...i feel better vibes here than in Phoenix...one of my favorite streets are 4 street, smoke shops, now Cannabis dispensaries, yaaay!!!

Tucson streets appear clean by comparison to other US Cities. Though I do see a few homeless much less than Phoenix or other US Cities and they appear toi travel light rather than be setting up permanent camps.
You walk or more march win a steady cadence. Almost like a machine. And apparently without effort. Closed businesses, little vehicle traffic and few pedestrians show the impact of the Pandemic everywhere.
If you're looking for a city with no hairs out of place, Scottsdale. If you're looking for a city with hairs out of place, Tucson. Tucson is quaint, quaint, quaint. Love it!

Hi Eddie! Downtown Tucson can get a little crowded when classes are in session at The University of Arizona but there is always room to move. You should definitely visit someday! 💙

People are very friendly in tucson. In boulder Colorado people are friendly also. But a little fake kind of. Tucson feels like I went back to the good Ole days in the 90s and 80s
This was posted awhile back. I am in the downtown area for over a year and it is now all drugs gangs and dead yes dead homeless people downtown now. Lot has changed in the 35 years of living here. Retired city bus driver. I so want to move but to where?

where the hell are all the people :D are they all diriving in cars. As a european its crazy to me. its a beautiful place yet hardly anyone walks (yes I get it its hot)
I grew up in Tuc. and can tell you that IT SUCKS NOW!!! Crime is growing in all areas of the city,with the Mex. cartel (Sinaloan) taking over, streets are in bad shape, gangs control most of the city, traffic is bad, and ever since politically liberal elements took over the city (about 30 yrs. ago), it has gotten worse. The Defund The Police movement has been effective insomuch as they only have about 300 officers when they have openings for 832. The cops don't respond to misdemeanors and response times are horrendous if at all. I moved outside of the city and have watched it deteriorate. Only go in when I absolutely have to........

This is true-definitely less trash on the streets compared to the northeast.
Won’t see much trash even in Phoenix.
