I was born and raised in St Louis I lived in Glendale for a year and a half I love Arizona I love the heat I love the people most of all I love the mountains being from the Midwest we don't have mountains just heels LOL we'll return to Arizona one day soon I want to thank you for the video I can sit back and watch things that I remember seeing and experiencing when I was in Arizona and would never forget it as long as I live
@@lanceholmes7722 Thanks Lance - glad we brought back some good memories for you. If you're looking for some other AZ walking videos, we have a few, including Tempe, Tombstone, Tucson, Show Low, and others. Check them out if you're looking for a walk down memory lane!
Well im from Europe Greece to be exact. And I kind love that city in the middle of America. It certainly doesn't look like all the other American cities. You feel secure.
@@jameswatson6 No they aren't ever be to Chicago, LA,Baltimore, St.Louis, Detroit, Memphis, Cleveland, these cities are far worse than Phoenix.Used to live in Phoenix never had any issues one of the best cities i have ever lived from Chicago originally and the crime there is off the charts currently living in Shitattle Washington and place is becoming a hot mess homeless people everywhere even in the decent parts of town increase in crime shooting, retail theft, auto theft, car break ins smash and grabs downtown Seattle along 3rd Avenue crime is so bad alot of businesses have closed up over the last 2years.
And its clean, it has lots of sunshining days, it has all the amenities and staff you expect from a city this size . Even if it situated in the desert.
This city has undergone massive change since I last visited in September 2012. I recall it still hot at around 105 and the streets were deserted. In scottsdale there was abit more activity. Streets and sidewalks need a lot more shade. Very clean and well managed for a large metro city.
There were definitely some areas with less people. Rest assured though, once you get out into the highway traffic, you'll wish there were less people. 😉🚗
Thats what makes it beautiful. 5 million people and the feeling of not being stacked on top of each other is priceless. 5th largest city in the country and still growing like a weed. Compare the other top cities....Houston (4) Chicago (3) Los Angeles (2) New York (1) now compare the peaceful, relaxing vibe of Phoenix to the other Top 4 and now you know why everyone is moving there.

Most American cities are safe.
Phoenix had one if the highest crime rates though. Its safe if your in the good areas . But some areas of the cities are not safe at all .

Me gusta, sera rentable trabajar y vivir ahi?
Thank you. Yes - you can make a living in Phoenix - just depends on what you are looking to do.
why are streets so empty? is this video from covid days?
It was shot in February of this year on a Saturday or Sunday.
Because it’s business district and people don’t live in that area, they live in suburbs
Is it true phoenix is the coldest city in the country?
One thing that makes me not wanna move there is how empty it looks, feels depressing
There were definitely some areas with less people. Rest assured though, once you get out into the highway traffic, you'll wish there were less people. 😉🚗
Nobody lives in Phoenix downtown the area showed in video
@@abdeo777 This downtown area is literally the only area you would see anyone walking around in Phoenix at all........

It seems quite beyond pcc
Too soon after Covid. The streets are more lively again now in 2024.
well it looks dead. why everyone at home? nobody wants to walk on the streets
