Yes, K15B is mild hybrid and the Jimny should also get the same. Plus the idle start-stop
@@91Wheels Great. Bunny Sir, I have got new Tata safari. And have done Leh manali very efficiently in last Aug but on 12 th Jan this year I was in Manali and was not able to go to Hamta with safari due heavy snow fall and has to hire a gypsy for 4K to and fro from manali to hamta.
The first thing on 13 th morning I did from hamta that I transferred 25 k to Rana motors and booked grey colour top end MT Jimny. Hopefully I will also get my Jimny in first lot.
And to be very honest after watching your video , I think I have taken a wise decision.🙏
If it is a 4x4 vehicle built quality is definitly needed. Is it's quality similar to swift.

It's very awkward position without seat height adjustment. The dashboard was very high for me. Sad. I am in process of cancelling the booking for this model.

Bunny what about the safety ratings of Jimny? Looking at history Marutis are well known for being delicate and using lightweight metal sheaths. That is the biggest drawback of any Maruti car. That's why they are lighter and economical at cost of personal safety..

Pricing needs to be very aggressive, else mahindra 4*2 will be a better option.
If pricing remains same between both, Point of consideration would be below :
Weight ,height, very compact even inside (not more than 4 can sit) ,Engine,Power, Torque, Rpm, Styling(Road presence), serious doubt on its build quality (I have seen the car in Expo ,doors are like water) waiting period & many more
so no 3 door for INDIA?
I would buy one, but 1.5L engine is too small and gutless. In Australia we need to carry camping gear and maybe pull a trailer with bikes etc. 2L engine with at least 5 gears would buy one without any doubt!

In August 2023 it’s available without any waiting and is standing in the showrooms to be bought immediately. It seems it is a flop product in India. I am not sure. Talking about Chandigarh and nearby areas.

it is NOT for daily city driving. Fuel Consp. is 6-7 kmpl. Running cost v. high. No rack & pinion steering. High cabin noise

Torque Converter is worse than AMT
Instead of full auto, Torque converter it must be AMT like maruti started with Celerio
Mahindra has 12 months waiting on most of their variants. Even if they launch it today the deliveries would be definitely later than Jimny.
MSIL has made a very accessible 4*4 which is easy to approach and buy

Itni badiya gaadi hai 6 seater hoti bhot accha tha cons pt.
The doors were way too light when I touched them in Auto Expo, same was for Fronx. In terms of Safety and Build Quality they are yet to match Tata, Mahindra, VW, Skoda. With Honda WR-V scoring 5 Stars in Asean NCAP, will wait for it's release in Summer 2023.
In terms on refined engine, fit and finish, built quality & safety all together honda is way better than Tata.

Urban runs with use of 4/5 gears will be 12-13 with AC running.
Very good decision by choosing Jimny over Thar
for real offroading we need to change the suspension and tyre of jimmny and dont know about engine power and capactiy
Only Negative is 4 speed Automatic Gearbox......, which I think suzuki will upgrade in its next upgrade version (maybe till 2025 to 2026), till then they want to sell their old technology.....
This 4 speed automatic is specifically designed for off-road bro
I Think For The K15B engine This Automatic Would Suffice as Current K15C which Comes With 6 Speed Is Mileage Oriented, For a 4×4 Torque Is Important than Mileage
internationally, jimny is equipped with 4speed AT only for the sake of torque during off road.
Waiting period is a concern? भाई Thar को तो Showroom वाले को रिश्वत दिए बिना time से मिलना ही नामुमकिन सा होता है. Maruti कम से कम गाड़ी दे तो देगी.

Ertiga, Breeza, XL6 now use the new C series engine. Ciaz uses B series (older, peppier). Jimny will use this same B series.

They should remove rear seats. Its embarrassing to sit on those seats. Thar has different purpose, its not a city car, but people go by cult and buy cars which don't fulfill their purposes. Few of my friends are planning to sell of their Thars.

1) For 4×4 off-road, I.5 liter underpowered engine
2) Poor ground clearance
3) Cheap body - compromised on safety
4) Rare seats are very uncomfortable if you are more than 5.10 height
5) No bottle holders in doors
6) No proper head & leg room
7) Poor grade plastic for dashboard
Overall, it's just an inferior quality Jymini & majorly compromised on safety & quality !!!
