Left leg heel crashes quite alot. Would work on ankle stiffness to try and get a better RSI. Just add some ankle isometric and then pogos and drop jumps and youre good to go.
I’ve been working on RSI for a bit now and I’ve seen some really good improvements in acceleration. Gotta keep working on my ankle stiffness I’ve noticed as well.

I learned many important things about sprinting in this video, thanks. I have just one question, how many sets and reps should I do in one training section?
You don’t want to spend a lot of time on the ground during top speed sprinting. Clawing the ground or pushing forward will make you over stride and spend more time on the ground. Instead focus on striking under your center on mass powerfully and fast.
Inspiring video! What do you recommend as a warm up protocol before attempting top speed? Some parts of me can go faster than others and if I try anything over 75% something explodes. Pulled a Quad last week & a Hamstring a month ago, which I’ve since been strengthening. I Hope to get back on the track next week with some short runs at ~50%. No sprints yet.
Flying sprints are really important for all sprinters. Although you don’t reach top speed in a 400, it’s important to develop top speed for speed reserve. The higher your top speed the easier it will be to maintain a fast pace. If you’re following a short to long approach, I would focus on flying 10s in the offseason. As the season and your times progress, lengthen the flying sprints to 20m and then 30m.
I wouldn’t call it a waist of time. Lifting weights is just not as transferable to top speed sprinting due to how fast it is in comparison. Weightlifting really improves your acceleration primarily.
Nice video. There's a mistake, 80 milliseconds is equal to 0.08 seconds, not 0.8 seconds.
I noticed after I posted it thank you.

@@Cmhrjkyg with all respect , but do you think that God could die at the hands of humans ?Is this considered a god?
@@أميمة-ح4ذif you’re talking about Jesus He didn’t die, only his body did. Cos He was both 100% man and 100% God
very helpful for this 49 y/o , sprinting for longevity. Thank you!

I learned more in those six minutes than from most half-hour videos. Very informative and well-written. Thank you.
Thank you, I aim to have very informative straight to the point videos. More coming soon
What a goldmine of info great video dude
Thank you
Good choice with sonic unleashed OST
This vedio is suprisingly high quallity.
Awesome video! Love the simplicity and editing. Keep it up!
Thanks I’m trying my best to
Great video and has lots of good information! I will be using this! Thank you!

When ur running at top speed I see a slight backward lean. You might wanna do some core, recommend ab-wheel roll outs.
That’s my favorite ab exercise I spam those

When i reach upright sprinting, should i like pull myself ( claw the ground) forward or push forward.

How are you combining the track sessions with the plyometrics? Plyos first after warm up or after max speed?
I like to do Plyos first to stimulate the cns and then top speed. But I wouldn’t recommend doing too much volume.
@@AdamPlanetary Thanks for the clarification.
Should the acceleration zone be max intent ?
woahs
Should 400 m sprinters also do flying sprints and at what time of season

This is actually very helpful and I will be using this video as an example for myself later, Thanks!
How old are you??
You must've been a fan of Sonic Unleashed eh?
You're the first guy I've come across who actually explains how to combat poor form.
How long should I rest between flying sprints ?
1 min per total meters ran. Including the acceleration zone.
@@AdamPlanetary So you mean if accelerate for 20meters and Fly for 30meters that I have to rest for 50 minutes ?! Seems a lot to me
@@roak.bf_content426 1 min rest per 10m run
What's the name of your buddy?
Would this also help with my top speed in the 200 or just the 100
This will help with both events
@@AdamPlanetarythank you also when running the 200 should I run on my balls of my feet or like a 400
@theunlucky2017 in all sprint events you wanna land on the balls of your feet
Thank u for letting me know
So is lifting weights a waste of time to improve maximum speed
