The fact that it comes with an articulating high hat stand, and you can actually open and close to get a realistic sizzle that’s a premium feature on any other E-drum kit. That alone would cost about $200 after the fact. 😮🤯
Fesley kits get better and better with each tier of kit. That being said, the sounds are what's lacking about fes. The decay (especially cymbals) on this particular kit is abysmal, and only completely solved at the 1500 kit. Not that being said, the 1500 is only $800 and what your get for that is absolutely amazing. So just go ahead and get one of the higher tier kits, imo 👍🏻 Or if your budget is maxed at the $400/500 range, then I'd go for the Simmons Titan 50 b-ex. You can get it for around $400 at musicians friend, and the sounds are top notch at this price point. Great little kit.
what's better, this or the donner? you can actually just use this to record professional sounding drums with software. no need to spend a lot on the more expensive kits
