    What’s the name of the paint was that satin black or flat black it looks really good

      It was duplicolor semigloss black. It’s still holding up well.

    I realize this isn't really a restoration, but I would of hit the hood hinges, steering shaft, steering box, and master cylinders with paint...

      I wasn’t too concerned with it because we installed a power gear box and power brakes in later episodes. I don’t remember if we did more paint work at that point or not.
      I believe the car was previously restored in the 90’s but has had many small pieces of body work done since then. Last year the owner had the rear floorboards replaced and some rust repaired in the trunk.

    Just found your channel and I know I’m late to the party but I’ve had some luck with rust converter on spots like under the master cylinder and the battery tray. You can paint right over it.

      Thanks for the tip Jeff!! I don’t have much experience with rust convertor. Not much rust in Colorado. I will keep it in mind for future projects for sure. I still have lots of things to cover on this project.
