Interesting find, I have checked my channel and I don't have a direct correlation. Some videos who are automatically reviewed still show up in recstricted mode and have above average views. Hopefully your numbers get better tho, best wishes from me

They do this with peoples comments too, they will shadowban people for making comments they disagree with, and when you mention it they allow that comment through to gaslight you into thinking you’re wrong.

Ad suitability "accuracy" is such a joke. Especially when they NEVER tell you specifically why your video gets a bad Ad Suitability rating. Man, I LOVE doing six render passes on the same video just to figure out why my stuff is getting restricted. It makes Zero Sense. It's incredibly frustrating as a creator.

Then they could loosen the ridiculous censorship because it would be on the sponsor to choose if said creator is an ideal investment. They would then have to figure out the split of ads which would probably be a lot more going to YT in order to actually run the site. But let’s be honest, that’s NEVER going to happen.
I never knew about this at all, but I always noticed it in my own content and could never figure out what was going on. I know RUclips will probably never do anything about changing the way it works because they are going to be advertiser driven but I just hope there is a future where creators can avoid these shadowbans in a way to be a bit more fair on the content we put effort into
I was noticing this as well! I thought I was going crazy 😂. I'm glad I have a solid understanding of how this works now. Maybe this is happening due to a lack of employees on RUclipss end, so they just use a bot system to review vids. Hopefully they get this sorted out soon.

RUclips doesn't want advertisers to be concerned about their ads being on risky videos, but I see ads for all kinds of disturbing content on videos I watch and even see ads I keep telling the system to block because I'm sick of seeing them. The system is very much being manipulated.
I ran into trouble once because I was using a thumbnail of the Skull Merchant in the thumbnails on my youtube live streams. Evidently RUclips thought the skull merchant was too hot for RUclips and wasn't wearing enough clothes (it was that sexy / skimpy outfit of hers).

I've seen the 1v8 Huntress and a few other videos. I find it fascinating that any time a youtuber mentions Shadowbanning or issues with the Algorithm they pop up for me. I don't know if that's because an employee reviews the video and says "Oh yes let's shed light on this" or if the Algorithm knows I enjoy the peek behind the curtain. Either way it sucks that this is how this works. More reason to manually check your subs to see when people have uploaded rather than waiting for it to maybe show up on your feed.
It's definitely because of the video titles. This video seems to have showed up no problem, and the title doesn't have any words that might get it flagged
This is why my default RUclips bookmark is ruclips.net/user/feedsubscriptions so that I never miss content I want to see. Then I go to the home page for recommendations. That is how it should be by design on every platform in existence, but everyone insists on algorithms being the front page...

Ever since the rule changes to monetization of graphic content in games in 2023, it has become a nightmare to upload dbd content. I even got demonetized for over a year and just now recently got back into the partner program. Edit: I just tried the same steps and it seems that killer gameplay videos are getting shadow banned at least for me.
The crazy thing is they do this for everyone. Even people that don't make money off of RUclips. As soon as you play Horror games or anything remotely not 'advertiser friendly' your content doesnt get pushed out unless you get lucky. Makes it stupidly difficult to build or retain an audience since noone sees your stuff.
