I believe each current huntress main was inspired by another monster. It was very cool to see you sharing who inspired you to reach this far with your huntress. This video really showcases the admirtion you have towards him. In my case I kind of felt something similar 1 year ago with dbd things.

    • @Sythine
      @Sythine 4 месяца назад +26

I was inspired by a Huntress monster. I initially didn't think there was much skill to DBD (relative to other FPS games that require dexterity on top of macro knowledge). But watching their hatchets blew my mind on the near infinite skill ceiling of Huntress. Hitting people crossmap, through tiny gaps, and from the sky. No one was safe and everyone was in range.
I later learned they were a hacker 😂
What was hilarious was being inspired enough to practice until I could pull off those hatchets legitimately, thus surpassing them.

It's just like with bishops- the higher you go through their tree of succesion, the closer you get to the apostles and the cheesy Cheesus himself. The legend has it, that the first Huntress main was Anna herself.
It's not a story the survivors would tell you. It's a kiIIer legend, the legend of Anna the Wise, who was so powerful and so wise that she could do orbitals from the actual orbit itself.

Or how maps will randomly have bits of invisible elevation where the ground is flat like Coldwind currently is like that. Run around as killer or survivor in the corn and you will find them. Many people seem to not grasp how predictable their gameplay actually is.
Players like him, who have sunk immense amounts of time into the game and who are overall extremely good at what they do can and will accurately predict movement even with minimal information Perks.
I used to be at a similar level when it came to predictions before my 2 year break from DbD. All I ran for information was Discordance, yet I was able to accurately predict and track Survivor locations all accross the map. Not nearly as precisely as Sverkeren in this video of course, but enough to get flooded with toxic comments and hackusations myself.
It didn't make me quit the game, but it caused me to delete a lot of comments from my profile and turn profile comments to "friends only", which is how they remain until this day.

And I've been watching you for quite a bit and I do see quite a bit of influence with your own twist on your personal gaming style. TRAINING ROUTINE TO BECOME LIKE SVERKEREN :
-Live in the red forest for approx 30 years
    -try making hatches/buying a bulk
-Hunt deer with hatchets (train aim with logs nearby your housing )
-Pillage nearby villages and kidnap their little girls
-Go out on every foggy day
This routine takes time but will get you to that level :D

Back in the era of wild west matchmaking before dedicated servers, I actually got matched against him once alongside my friend Solid, since he was hosting, I ended up in EU lobbies. Think the match lasted all of 3 minutes, it was a stomp, but I also from then on, learned to play against huntress more effectively and anytime I encounter a good huntress, that knowledge I picked up starting around then, comes in handy.

Brilliant video. Sverkeren is still around, when I say this I'm not trying to bait a debate, he just didn't like how easy the killer side of the game had become, with each patch the skill ceiling would be lowered and the game would become less and less rewarding for him to play. He plays a bunch of FPS games, but I rarely see him on twitch anymore.
Playing against Sven, was was the best times I've had in DBD, it was so much fun to truly get outplayed by somebody. Its not something that really happens in DBD anymore, bloodlust, blights with 7 bounces etc, rarely do you get the feeling of somebody just being brilliant, the game often outplays you instead of the player. Back then if you wanted to dominate like he did, you had to be the real deal, and he would destroy you every time, it was amazing, you would know its him within the first 10 seconds of the round.

You made me want to play huntress and become the best I could, but seeing Sverkeren play is... it feels like no one is even close to matching him. It feels like even after hundreds of hours of watching huntress games, Sverkeren has just shattered everything I thought I knew about what was possible.

Classic old DbD fan base, calling someone a cheater with no evidence of such things. Glad the community seems to be doing better than back then, of course toxicity and salt still exists, but it does feel better.

I have only until this day been accused once of hacking and that was when I got paired with some low mmr people as a friendly pig only to game afoot rancor the last survivor for not playing ball. Honestly though that was understandable. Haha

@@torei9261I don't think so, i used to get insulted EVERYTIME, and literally get obliterated with the locker flashlight save, and when the match ended, 4 insults at the same time, but when I won, oh God, i remember a crazy kid (well, i hope he was a kid) who wrote like 8 lines of insults, but weird and crazy insults that had nothing to do with the game 🤣(he obviously got his play account banned after cursing my whole bloodline 😂) so, i feel like people now are more tryhard but back then they were much more toxic due to the unbalanced state of the game, that shit felt like the hunger games, kill or be killed🤣
