I feel like the reason his build worked so well was because it was Racoon City Police Station, and his Low Profile, which arguably is his strongest perk, activated twice, setting up the perfect scenarios for him to lose you. If you had chased him before two were dead he would be a lot easier to catch. Light Weight is still brutal tho on RCPS.
Pretty much Lightweight doesn't really work that well on open maps (which is the case of most maps :v) That's why i would have prefered that it lowered the sounds of footstepts instead of being a scratchmark thing, cause... You know.. LIGHTWEIGHT :') It would be a lot more useful on loops of most maps instead of just indoors
THIS. Yes, at first Bill lost him only through lightweight BUT that was mostly partly because of the Racoon CPS map. A lot of rooms, small corridors, holding W and zigzag constantly made him lose the killer. Also, that killer relies on his charge bound ability which when you miss the survivor, you have a very small time penalty regaining stamina, making it possible for the survivor to gain distance making Bill profit from Lightweight even more. In the end of the match Bill got so much value out of his Low Profile perk because the killer downed the other survivor and immediately chased Bill after that. Because we wanted to see if Bill was cheating.. That's why Bill's build worked so well.. Overall, this matchup for being that killer on that map was terribly unlucky. But being Bill on the other hand... oh boy how I want to try out that build and put my RCPS Map offering with it now haha. Awesome video!

@@Zorooooooooooooooooooooooooooo that doesn't excuse chat for being ignorant and calling out cheats despite being oblivious to game elements. Anyone who knew what Low Profile is would not have called cheats. When Survivors get videos made out of them being dumb and calling the killer a cheater because of perks like Mad grit everyone mocks them, but we can't do the same here? Double standards if i've ever seen any.
The wild part is that you didn't often get use out of your final perk because you were rarely last standing. I can't imagine how good this feels on survivor side when it constantly procs like Bill did
think you failed to notice that the bill was so good with his build bc of the scenarios you gave him, you slugged kate 2-3 times which let his low profile work and he was also on RPD which lightweight does really well on. so his build was good but even better on the map and w/ the situations u gave him. he also knew the map really well and knew where to go and hide.
So I was Kate and my boyfriend was Yoichi. I'd like to defend myself and say that when I slow vaulted that pallet, I didn't realize that Bill was being chased across from me until it was too late 🤣😭 I swear it wasn't on purpose
I think something can be learned from this: The right combination of perks, even those that don't seem to have an obvious synergy, can work extremely well, and there are a LOT more perk combinations that we all must research and take note of.
Not only did Bill juke Coco to oblivion and obsession, he picked up the chat's hackusations and THREW THEM BACK IN ITS FACE. Skill issue does not begin to describe it.
After watching the video I can understand that Bill's build worked well because he was always the last survivor standing (low profile) and light weight + iron will is boosted on RPD. And on top of that, we have to give him credit, he played really really well.
I also think another big factor for bill was the map, lightweight was super effective considering all the twists and turns in rpd so it helped play into his favor quite a bit
from the editing style to the music, this is a really well done video. i was so glad it continued into a “second act” with you learning how to use the build. i love all your videos but this one is on another level, NICE job
one thing killer mains don't understand is you can't just hop on survivor, put a couple perks on, and expect to be cracked. you need to spend alot of hours on survivor in order to know when and when not to do certain things. you can clearly see the bridge between the Bill and this guy. Bill knew how to chase, when to make distance, and when he knew he was about to get hit to drop his flash bang. it's like watching otzdarva. amazing killer, but not the best survivor.
This video was insanely well made. Actually doing the research post game to figure out if Bills perks matched up was smart and a lot more effort than most people would do in that situation
As a stealth player myself, RPD and Lerys are our dream maps. With more open maps Overcome+Lucky Break comes in better use than Lightweight. Deception is also the most underrated perk IMO. It's amazing how many times I've lost killers in both closed-in and open maps using Deception alone. Turn a tight corner, pop it, turn again and lose scratchmarks for 3 seconds and make distance while they stop to check the locker. I also like pairing it with Quick and Quiet and Head On too so I can Q&Q vault after popping Deception if need be. Also once the killer becomes aware I have Deception, I can Q&Q into a locker beside the one I popped. And if they do decide to actually check I can nail them with Head On. lol
what an amazing watch first off! coco you put out a quality piece with this one. a new build, some deep insights, big brain analysis, and on point gameplay I've been having a hard time playing dbd recently where I see all this "survivor sided" stuff with all the changes but I've been getting slaughtered as both killer and survivor. I feel out of the loop to something fundamental and breakdowns like this video really scratch that itch and I'm ready to jump back in lol
You ever juke so hard and break the Killer’s ankles so bad that he starts monologging and like an anime character, and then goes through a full blown training arc to master your martial art and defeat you at your own game
I guessed the build, except for Iron Will. Very, very intelligent of him to get a Flashbang off on you *right* as he gets injured, with Low Profile activated. That is an astounding way to lose the killer.
i started using this build (and changed it into perks i had) and it no joke changed my goddamn dead by daylight life, i was basically able to escape 75% of situations.
it's so sad how everyone in dbd immediately calls someone a cheater as soon as they show skill, I saw otz doing the same just because an Ace looped his nemesis for too long, and his chat agreed with him...
Really I get the impression that he played the map to his advantage. Lots of corners, near sighted rooms and hallways, it's very easy to lose a killer with the right perks like Quick and Quiet, Dance With Me, or in Bill's case Lightweight and Low Profile.
Problem is Low Profile was never active in the last game, so Spirit could always see your blood to track. The build works best when healthy or being the last standing, which your game against Bill went almost perfectly for him in that regard
That Bill is insane. I want to try to learn that build! This build could technically be better with No Mither because you never leave pools of blood. Throw in DH and you can still take a hit. Also I know the song that starts playing at 17:20
Seemed like coco got no value from Low Profile because the others were never all down/on hook/dead. RPD seemed like a great map for getting value out of Lightweight and Iron Will when Low Profile is not in play, if you stay in the areas where you can go several ways and lose line of sight. Mastering flashbang usage seems like it can come in clutch during chases. Might be best to gen-jockey/stay out of chases for a while at the start of the match, if you want extra time using Low Profile later. I assumed Low Profile was only useful when everyone else is dead, I overlooked the very specific wording they used for that perk.
Stealth perks are actually so underrated. You waste just as much if not more time simply by losing the killer after they hard commit to you and make them waste time checking corners, lockers, etc while preserving pallets. It's ridiculous how many times I've lost chase with fixated alone.
i know what he's doing because i play survivor very similar to him, what most survivors do when they get into a chase is just keep looping or you have w gamers who just keep running until they need to throw down a pallet but the bill plays a very risky way, he uses how killers act to hide, this may seem confusing but firstly you need to break down the pure basics of chasing, a survivors role is to stay away from the killer while the killer's role is to catch up to the survivor and hit them, loops such as jungle gyms, TL walls etc are designed to slow the killer down since they're obstacles designed for survivors to take advantage of, how the bill plays is by tricking the killer into going one direction then walking in the other, perks like lightweight and iron will benefit from this since it makes finding you even harder, most survivors don't play or know how to do this effectively since this build also requires a decent amount of "gambling" to work since it's focused on confusing the killer even if it means risking a bad spot. i'll create a quick tutorial Billology 101 Step 1. make distance creatively distance is needed to pull this off since having no line of sight is required, abuse loops in weird ways that killers never expect, a great way to make a ton of distance is by tricking the killer into a loop then leaving said loop straight away, TL walls make a great example, if you run towards the outer L side of a TL loop the killer will most likely try to meet you halfway by going through the inner side of the L, use this time to run away giving you a ton of distance Step 2. Lose line of sight and trick By losing line of sight the killer now has to predict where you are rather than just blindly follow, this is where the magic happens, if a survivor was to run behind a long wall that only goes in one direction, the killer will predict the survivor will run out the other side so the killer will run towards the other side but if the survivor double backs while the killer is running towards the other side then that's space you've made, it's impossible to trick a killer on just a simple wall but in other scenario's this can work, one other key trick is needed to pull chases like what this bill did off consistently Step 3. Walk once a killer has lost line of sight, use walking to hide your direction and crouch once you've found a spot you're confident the killer won't find you, perks like lightweight make faking directions more believable since scratch marks are inconsistent, as long as you are out of sight from the killer and within any space where there are multiple choices, take the last one, killers try to think like survivors and because of that they will do what is most obvious, at 3:50 Coconut lost the bill within 20 seconds because the most obvious decision a survivor would've chosen is to go upstairs since it's a strong looping area with good pallets, but what the bill has done is either 1 of 2 choices, the most obvious is he's actually ran left then walked right into the interview room and crouched on the right side of the doorway, this way if coconut runs into the room if he doesn't pay attention the moment he walks in will miss the bill entirely, the other way bill could've went is straight ahead and then to the left and hid behind the counter, both very good choices and are easy to miss. ik making a guide like this sounds really cringe and trust me i hated making this but it's a very fun playstyle, if you can properly learn how to play this way there's thing you can pull off that just seem impossible, there's been a ton of times where i've crouched directly behind a killer putting someone on hook then moving around them while they turn without being seen at all
I love that you made sure to check all your boxes before calling him a cheater and after you figured out his options and saw that it worked you tried it yourself to see first hand
A video exists from bills perspective. Low Profile Value; Raw Shadowplay, is the title of the video. It doesn't include the entire game but a good 5 minutes of it. His video starts at about 5:50 of coconuts video if you want to line up the videos and chases.
I’ve watched this video so many times because for some reason it’s so satisfying seeing dbd content creators having matches against genuinely good players that give them a serious run for their money. I feel like sometimes we put these content creators on a pedestal when in reality they get outplayed at times as well
Anyone who wants to see Bill perspective, his channel is SmoithSmith and the video is called "Low Profile Value; Raw Shadowplay | Dead by Daylight". It's the very first video on his channel and it's pretty crazy to see where he went each time.
I wonder how many silly killer mains are already crying for lightweight nerfs and screamed cheater when facing a pure high skilled survivor like this Chad Bill was
Thing is though, garden of joy's house is only one large area. The rest of the map wouldn't work with that build and set up. With RPD, the ENTIRE map works with it.
@@onemuststand7353 But that large area is central. It's like Badham's school... If the survivors always drag you back there and have this kind of builds, quite a RIP for you as the killer. Garden of Joy also has a lot of hard bushes, so maybe you can play around with that too. This build could also work insanely well in any corn field map too since scratch marks are already a pain to follow in the fields... Humans fear what they don't understand
I mean, you have to consider that cheating is rampant, and that Coco has already experienced a lot of subtle cheaters.
For those who may or may not know but that bill has a yt (
SmoithSmith) where he makes comps of that build :)
That bill is a PoS
Bruh…
My man literally became Bill to prove a point.
Respect
I understand it's a ton of work, but this is so much more entertaining to watch than when someone just uploads a game from their stream
The wild part is that you didn't often get use out of your final perk because you were rarely last standing. I can't imagine how good this feels on survivor side when it constantly procs like Bill did
think you failed to notice that the bill was so good with his build bc of the scenarios you gave him, you slugged kate 2-3 times which let his low profile work and he was also on RPD which lightweight does really well on. so his build was good but even better on the map and w/ the situations u gave him. he also knew the map really well and knew where to go and hide.
good point
So I was Kate and my boyfriend was Yoichi. I'd like to defend myself and say that when I slow vaulted that pallet, I didn't realize that Bill was being chased across from me until it was too late 🤣😭 I swear it wasn't on purpose
yea we are humans we make mistakes hate it when end match people think you blocked on propose.. I had it happen to me and done it too not on propose.
Wanna run some matches?😊
This is adorable. Justice for Kate!
I thought it was kinda obvius it was an honest mistake. It happens 🤷♀️
It’s all good, it was clearly an accident. I’ve accidentally blocked someone like too, mistakes happen.
I think something can be learned from this: The right combination of perks, even those that don't seem to have an obvious synergy, can work extremely well, and there are a LOT more perk combinations that we all must research and take note of.
literally the only DBD streamer still inspire me to play this game... well fking done Coco!
Runs the killer into his team reparing a gen...
CoconutRTS: ''It finally worked, we lost her''
Not only did Bill juke Coco to oblivion and obsession, he picked up the chat's hackusations and THREW THEM BACK IN ITS FACE.
That was likely the most important factor, surprised it wasn’t mentioned.
from the editing style to the music, this is a really well done video. i was so glad it continued into a “second act” with you learning how to use the build. i love all your videos but this one is on another level, NICE job
one thing killer mains don't understand is you can't just hop on survivor, put a couple perks on, and expect to be cracked. you need to spend alot of hours on survivor in order to know when and when not to do certain things. you can clearly see the bridge between the Bill and this guy.
Probably the most fascinating wild sequence of events i've witnessed in DBD and im glad we got the killer POV which added to the mystery
Great video with great editing 👍 more like this would be appreciated 🤘
That's the plan! I'm doing a massive channel experiment. I'm glad you like the editing
@@CoconutRTS if you need editors do you mind if I upload some of your stream clips but edited?
@Time to throw Pogchamp Go for it! I wouldn't be opposed to it!
And if they do decide to actually check I can nail them with Head On. lol
12:46 gotta be the funniest part when going back and rewatching him sneak by and go downstairs
Turns out he just out skilled you in so many ways. Best survivor ever.
That low profile perk in addition to that map itself I think is what made him such a ninja Literal ninja build, and he knew how to move too.
Imagine replacing flash bang with Quick and Quiet
The whole build involves the flash bomb
Playing with qaq has a different play style
@@golvellius6855 Quaq
W Bill and W Coconut for being logical and thorough before just labeling him a cheater
When an Old man outsmarts the Old man, the Old man becomes the Old man and goes on to out smart Old men as an Old man.
The level of skill this Bill has is commendable.
what an amazing watch first off! coco you put out a quality piece with this one. a new build, some deep insights, big brain analysis, and on point gameplay
I've been having a hard time playing dbd recently where I see all this "survivor sided" stuff with all the changes but I've been getting slaughtered as both killer and survivor.
The story of an egoist killer getting reality checked by a bill
I guessed the build, except for Iron Will. Very, very intelligent of him to get a Flashbang off on you *right* as he gets injured, with Low Profile activated. That is an astounding way to lose the killer.
i started using this build (and changed it into perks i had) and it no joke changed my goddamn dead by daylight life, i was basically able to escape 75% of situations.
it's so sad how everyone in dbd immediately calls someone a cheater as soon as they show skill, I saw otz doing the same just because an Ace looped his nemesis for too long, and his chat agreed with him...
“Tell me your a killer main without telling me your a killer main”
Yap
Really I get the impression that he played the map to his advantage. Lots of corners, near sighted rooms and hallways, it's very easy to lose a killer with the right perks like Quick and Quiet, Dance With Me, or in Bill's case Lightweight and Low Profile.
"look at how fast I down this Kate" Kate has made 0 efforts to avoid you lol
Honestly thats simply a bill with a good gaming chair I play ghostface and i’d wish i get a game like that it would be fun
Gets beat by one person. Spends the rest of the day reverse engineering how someone could possibly beat "the master."
Also I know the song that starts playing at 17:20
Maybe... but one use of Dead Hard and your Iron Will ain't worth a burnt penny.
I guess is just strong in a map like that...
20:16 “ Dude, I’m a killer main” I saw what she was trying to do and when you said that. Aah man I’m a killer main too 😂🫡
I always assumed low profile deactivated once any survivor besides them stands up, but damn I didn't know it did that
as a Bill main I can confirm most of our builds is around getting away and hiding because Bill's cough is SO LOUD it makes us easy to find.
Even best survivor can’t escape
Killers are too op
The narrative and Bill giving a performance was hilarious
Seemed like coco got no value from Low Profile because the others were never all down/on hook/dead. RPD seemed like a great map for getting value out of Lightweight and Iron Will when Low Profile is not in play, if you stay in the areas where you can go several ways and lose line of sight. Mastering flashbang usage seems like it can come in clutch during chases. Might be best to gen-jockey/stay out of chases for a while at the start of the match, if you want extra time using Low Profile later. I assumed Low Profile was only useful when everyone else is dead, I overlooked the very specific wording they used for that perk.
The best survivor playing Bill makes complete sense and my l4d2 heart is filled with joy.
This is probably my favorite video you've done, awesome, Bill is a god.
Stealth perks are actually so underrated. You waste just as much if not more time simply by losing the killer after they hard commit to you and make them waste time checking corners, lockers, etc while preserving pallets. It's ridiculous how many times I've lost chase with fixated alone.
Maybe that build works because of RPD ,the game, maybe lerys? Looks so hard to use
This
i know what he's doing because i play survivor very similar to him, what most survivors do when they get into a chase is just keep looping or you have w gamers who just keep running until they need to throw down a pallet but the bill plays a very risky way, he uses how killers act to hide, this may seem confusing but firstly you need to break down the pure basics of chasing, a survivors role is to stay away from the killer while the killer's role is to catch up to the survivor and hit them, loops such as jungle gyms, TL walls etc are designed to slow the killer down since they're obstacles designed for survivors to take advantage of, how the bill plays is by tricking the killer into going one direction then walking in the other, perks like lightweight and iron will benefit from this since it makes finding you even harder, most survivors don't play or know how to do this effectively since this build also requires a decent amount of "gambling" to work since it's focused on confusing the killer even if it means risking a bad spot. i'll create a quick tutorial
Billology 101
Step 1. make distance creatively
distance is needed to pull this off since having no line of sight is required, abuse loops in weird ways that killers never expect, a great way to make a ton of distance is by tricking the killer into a loop then leaving said loop straight away, TL walls make a great example, if you run towards the outer L side of a TL loop the killer will most likely try to meet you halfway by going through the inner side of the L, use this time to run away giving you a ton of distance
Step 2. Lose line of sight and trick
By losing line of sight the killer now has to predict where you are rather than just blindly follow, this is where the magic happens, if a survivor was to run behind a long wall that only goes in one direction, the killer will predict the survivor will run out the other side so the killer will run towards the other side but if the survivor double backs while the killer is running towards the other side then that's space you've made, it's impossible to trick a killer on just a simple wall but in other scenario's this can work, one other key trick is needed to pull chases like what this bill did off consistently
Step 3. Walk
once a killer has lost line of sight, use walking to hide your direction and crouch once you've found a spot you're confident the killer won't find you, perks like lightweight make faking directions more believable since scratch marks are inconsistent, as long as you are out of sight from the killer and within any space where there are multiple choices, take the last one, killers try to think like survivors and because of that they will do what is most obvious, at 3:50 Coconut lost the bill within 20 seconds because the most obvious decision a survivor would've chosen is to go upstairs since it's a strong looping area with good pallets, but what the bill has done is either 1 of 2 choices, the most obvious is he's actually ran left then walked right into the interview room and crouched on the right side of the doorway, this way if coconut runs into the room if he doesn't pay attention the moment he walks in will miss the bill entirely, the other way bill could've went is straight ahead and then to the left and hid behind the counter, both very good choices and are easy to miss.
ik making a guide like this sounds really cringe and trust me i hated making this but it's a very fun playstyle, if you can properly learn how to play this way there's thing you can pull off that just seem impossible, there's been a ton of times where i've crouched directly behind a killer putting someone on hook then moving around them while they turn without being seen at all
I love your response, thank you for typing this out
Bill player: simply runs away
Coconut: THE MAN CANNOT BE STOPPED
"I don't want to talk about it" is the true Wesker experience
Imagine the alternate timeline where after finally learning the build Bill returns just to confirm he was cheating lol
doing all that investigating cuz you can’t take a L in peace was wild. embarrassing asf.
I love that you made sure to check all your boxes before calling him a cheater and after you figured out his options and saw that it worked you tried it yourself to see first hand
That was a beautiful Bill Documentary. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Loved that style of narration.
A video exists from bills perspective. Low Profile Value; Raw Shadowplay, is the title of the video.
It doesn't include the entire game but a good 5 minutes of it. His video starts at about 5:50 of coconuts video if you want to line up the videos and chases.
"easy part is done, we killed him" *makes a whole video about struggling to find him
When I saw Bill in the thumb nail I knew this video was gonna be good and Boi Boi it doesn't disappoints.
Brotherrrrr Bill is letting you know the JUICE IS LOOSE brotherrrrrrrr!
I feel bad that the bill got camped when you finally hooked him, thats fucked up man
I’ve watched this video so many times because for some reason it’s so satisfying seeing dbd content creators having matches against genuinely good players that give them a serious run for their money. I feel like sometimes we put these content creators on a pedestal when in reality they get outplayed at times as well
CoconutRTS every time he gets mildy outplayed:
There must be a way this guy is cheating, let me check my footage frame by frame
mildly lmao this bill rolled him, bro had to camp him to get him out
bill is using a strategy where if you holler at the top of your lungs irl while being chased you gain a small speed buff
I have question. Did u camp him ti death and cut it out?
This video is so good. First You showed us these survivors being cracked from your pov, to trying out their pov
I mean for the game one, you didn't really lose her. Someone was working on the gen you ran past before you went upstairs so she just changed targets.
In the end it's always a Bill being a goofy goofer in some type of way lol...
This is frickin' epic
nutter
Nutter indeed
Anyone who wants to see Bill perspective, his channel is SmoithSmith and the video is called "Low Profile Value; Raw Shadowplay | Dead by Daylight". It's the very first video on his channel and it's pretty crazy to see where he went each time.
I wonder how many silly killer mains are already crying for lightweight nerfs and screamed cheater when facing a pure high skilled survivor like this Chad Bill was
That Bill showed that meta is not all in the life, sometimes all of you need is be good and imagination.
Imagine this build in the garden of joy house
This build + darkness = killer pain
Thing is though, garden of joy's house is only one large area. The rest of the map wouldn't work with that build and set up. With RPD, the ENTIRE map works with it.
@@onemuststand7353 I guess so
@@onemuststand7353
But that large area is central.
And for the hardcore version, just replace Low Profile and Iron Will for No Mither :P
Don’t know if anyone will know what I’m talking about but when he said “it’s gamer tiiime, Gamer time!” It’s straight up reminded me of this character named mozu from a discontinued game called gigantic who was a little mouse girl who had a bunch of stolen wands and had a line saying “it’s magic tiiime” “magic time, hehe”
To be fair it’s hard to see how good this build is against a nurse, I mean there’s only so much u can do to survive against her in the first place💀
Bring an offering for Lery's or any Coldwind map and the Nurse will probably want to uninstall against a build like this if you can add some unpredictable movement on top.
@@xxLiquidxxSnakExx Even on her worst map good nurses still destroys. The whole reason why she is so strong is that she is not map dependant, sure it can be harder with maps like RPD but you aren't necessarily at a disadvantage.
Haha Bill messed with your mind so bad that he sent you on a spiritual quest to master his ways LOL
Sounds like a skill isue to me
