I'm not even disappointed! What a brilliant innovator, so good in fact that even many practitioners don't realise just how influential he was. That casual, conversational style and minimalist technique - nothing flashy, just handling the cards like any competent, low-stakes poker player in a friendly game with his pals - is all Vernon. The whole theory of downplaying your true skill to make the outcomes even more unexpected and impactful, that's all Vernon too. 🤷‍♂️
