Having just used this skillet for the first time, ruclips.net/user/postUgkxIst1DRMCWM6dgd9VjXMFXlH4HeElE6Mc to batter-fry some macaroni & cheese, I'm absolutely in love with it. The foldaway design means it actually fits in my very small kitchen, but it also makes everything crazy simple to clean. While the instructions say you should not deep fry in this, you can, but do it with your best judgment; in my case the oil didn't even reach the halfway mark.It's hard to see in the pictures, but the skillet itself has a lip in the corner. This allows steam to get out during cooking if the lid is on (so don't try to steam rice in it), and makes pouring out used oil extremely easy.Cleanup was a dream. After detaching the plug and control circuit, the unit is just three separate pieces: The skillet itself, the lid, and the base which may or may not need any cleaning at all (usually just the handles). Compared to a dedicated deep fryer I purchased in the past, where the heating element was suspended in the oil and everything was difficult to clean, the difference was amazing.I'm definitely looking forward to using this for more things in the future.
I've been cooking my whole life, but for some reason I've never been able to master the roasted potato.. not only is this recipe delicious, it makes for the most delicious roasted potatoes I've ever had. Sooo easy too. I'm so glad I found your channel.

Made a twist to this Instead of adding the potatos I added a slight spicy sauage And put my "Rustic potatos" on the side of the plate
My Potatos : Cubed with skin Add in your olive oil Or sub for it in a bowl Enough to coat the amount of potatos used (I like to re add the amount for every handful of potatos) Add in Pepper salt Which ever herbs or spices you like I added Montreal Steak spice Almost tastes like a BBQ.. Dill And chives After baked ..The trick to not burning them And having them toasty brown is parchment paper AND have all skins facing the bottom
Next Cook a few pieces of bacon ( I use maple favor bacon ) And onion Cook till Well done and crispy drain and on paper towel chop down to small bites And toss in with the Potatos flavors Salty, Smokey, Slight sweetness, If you want added flavor cook your bacon and onion first Dont drain the fats pour them into a mix bowl for you're potatos Then add your seasonings
I made this for the first time serving 6 people. So delicious! I added sausage and a dash of cayenne pepper to the mix for a kick and added avocado to garnish. 10/10! Thank you for sharing.

Made it this morning for brunch. Incredible! I would definitely suggest while the potatoes are roasting that you simmer the tomato mixture until the oil separates from the tomatoes. It brings out so much more flavor. I also added half a tablespoon of brown sugar to the tomato mix. This one is a keeper, thanks 🤗

@@SpainonaFork so I made it and it was delicious. I didn't have any oregano so I substituted with coriander. I find the coriander goes quite well with the tomato and egg 😋

I appreciate recipes like this. I live alone , over 60, not working anymore. This is easy to make , but too much for a single guy. I will try doing 1/3 of quantity , and that will satisfy me. It looks delicious.

My grandmother was from Barcelona and I still remember those dishes that se made when I was a young kid a millennia ago. I don't have the complete list of ingredients so I will have to go to the supermercado to get them. I am a breakfast guy and I can eat breakfast the whole day so I shall cook this for my lunch. Made this today. Came out delicious what I would add is that when adding the eggs made a little dent prior so the egg lays exactly where you want it.

Recommend by my girlfriend, I made this today and added crushed cayenne pepper for a kick of spicy, then topped with avocado for some greens. It tastes so..... good and it will be definitely an encore dish in my kitchen. Thanks for a delicious meal of all times.

Making this right now. It’s almost done! Surprising my roommates who are currently asleep with a delicious breakfast! Ran into a snag with my cast iron skillet I don’t have a lid that fits it perfectly so the eggs are taking a long time to cook through i May turn it into a scramble. I hope it turns out good! I love this red sauce! My grandma used to make this for me growing up, but she’d add in some Pimento paste (hot or sweet both are yummy) and a wee bit of vinegar and OMG everyone needs to make this! Thanks for making this great dish on here for many people to enjoy!

Yes you can use sweet potatoes, in my experience they cook at the same length as yukon gold potatoes, much love
