I met these two at the world premiere of ABIGAIL at Overlook Film Festival in New Orleans. It was SO fun to hear from and chat with them, and I’m glad to see their stuff turn out as well as it has!
I love their Movies :-) I had zero interesst in Abigail because i have no interesst in Vampire Movies, but i didnt know that Radio Silence are the Directors. We had Scream VI last year so i didnt even think their have a new Movie. After i saw the Trailer i am hyped for this Movie.
I was hoping you would ask them how they feel about the girl's true identity being given away in the trailers, and ruining the suspense and mystery we could have had going on until the reveal. I'm sure they had nothing to do with that, and I would have been livid if I were them.
Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the interview goes from that very political space of a couple of filmmakers just trying to be nice and conciliatory about the process to really detailing the ways in which their workflow actually has to accommodate the realities of filmmaking. Obviously I don't expect them to slag anyone that they were working with, but I know it's got to be hard to both try to have a conversation among peers and try to be aware of selling a product and keeping working relationships in order
Loved scream 6 but the end was silly. *Spoilers* The family went from menacing to coo-coo for coco puffs. I think the father not shooting the protagonist then falling off the second floor was goofy too.
@@nolannicedude I'm always in the comments in MANY videos. These are literally telling him "good job on the video" instead of linking something like most bots. You know, the ones that actually scam people. These looked like paid bots who just add more "engagement" but as you can see, fails.
People who haven’t pledged to the kickstarter are so annoying because they think they know everything. We get updates nearly every month on how things are going and what to expect moving forward. Y’all act like making an indie film is a quick and easy process when there’s actually so much time that goes into it. And honestly for an indie film I think it’s going by pretty fast. I’ve seen indie films that finish filming and then take 5 years to release. Y’all just wanna hate and it’s incredibly pathetic. It shows that you don’t actually respect filmmakers and only care about people saying “movie bad” because it gets you off or something.
So you don't review movies anymore. And your movie is never coming out? So not s critic or a director. Just a movie fan? I always trusted you reviews. Bit you just kinda wate my time now. Good luck
I dont get why you're so jaded. His content isn't only for you. He makes videos about his passions. He is a man who is genuinely passionate about film. He doesnt just watch movies and say it's good, bad, or mid like other reviewers.
@@seeksolace2059 he can make videos about whatever suits his fancy. Just not s movie review channel anymore. I wish him luck. Hopefully his movie doesn't suck. If he did he couldn't admit it now anyway
@@rockwithmiles Not only that, but they have updated the community time and time again... If this chucklefuck doesn't know the production plan as a backer at this point, that's completely on him.
@@rockwithmiles Not as long as he is taking. He finished filming almost a year ago and then started asking for more money for post production. It was only 4 weeks of filming. Maybe you should research how long it takes to make. He is even trying to charge people $100 for the blu-ray because he signed it. If you think this is normal, you give him your money too.
@saintcarreyett its very common for post production to last for more than a year. I've worked on multiple tv shows and movies that take years to finish. Monkey man literally finished filming in 2021 and was released this year. He has to find distributors, apply for festivals, marketing etc. Not ever film is the same as other ones made, ESPECIALLY independent films. Relax, wait for the film to come out, and judge it then.

Do you always make everything about you?
Two of my favorite directors working right now. Thanks for making this pod, Chris.
These two need more love. In my opinion, Ready or Not and the last two Scream movies are among the most entertaining horror films in years.
Also their short movies in V/H/S and Southbound are great (i say their parts are the best in this Movies)
That was a great interview! Thanks Chris
Congrats, Chris! You are the best. 🥳🥳❤🍀
Thanks for this Pre Production series, I like learning about the filmmaking process and people's different takes on it.
They are really getting great at ensemble pieces with talented actors.
Amazing content

I can't tell which one of them it is but one of them sounds almost exactly like Ralph from Ralphthemoviemaker lol. Love your content Chris!
Chris! The trailer for M Night's Trap is out! Please review it 😂

2mil subs and 50 comments on a vid w/ 6k views.... oof, sorry m8.
They haven’t made a good movie since southbound
Where tf is your movie
😂 they only give Chris like 20 minutes of their time 😂 they don't want to speak to this man 😂
If they didn’t want to speak why did they agree to come on in the first place ?
first
He bought BOTS! 😂 LOOK AT THE COMMENTS
I think bots appear on every video for channels with a sizable audience, it's just more visible on the content that gets less engagement
