Honestly, I think you could probably do without the active cooling in the rack. Those things are designed for hot network gear running 24/7. The 1u cooling unit is also designed to be used around that sort of hardware so noise isn't a concern. If noise is too much of an issue just get a DC12v wall adaptor and use it to run some 200mm PC fans
I wonder if there's a speed controller for the fans, sounds like there spinning max speed

You know , I recently kinda completed my home studio and I don't know where to start making content.When I had nothing I used to make more podcasts and I had more music ideas but it's like I'm confused that do I really know how to use these things? Am I really good in making content or I just ran out of ideas?!
But it's like you really know what you're doing and what's the plan B if that doesn't work.

I am WORKING- ON A STATIC in the attic heap- music room to blast off- having a go getter garage sale- thin the junk- HEY do you think styrofoam covered in lets say a cute looking fabric is good for blocking my sound! TOTAL INSPIRATION to clutter bust! looks amazing!

Water cooling is the best thing I have used to cool my computer for over 10 years, Ola you could use water cooling system on your mac, pedals and racks. If you worry about water leaking on circuit you could use refrigeration oil instead of water. Very efficient very quiet.

Positive Ola time: I am seriously impressed by you. You have a drive to keep progressing. Not only with your Solar guitar business, but your channel, your family, your inspiration to keep progressing your knowledge. Your Solar guitars have taken off, and I love the fact you keep progressing them. Body, shape, style, hardware (love the Evertune). And your real about it, no BS. Just making metal guitars by a metal brother, for a metal brother..or sister ;) Your channel is huge. It progressed so much. I rely a fair bit on your insight on product testing. And I love it's your opinion, and it's not fake. If its kicks ass, then you say so. If it sucks anus taints, then you say so. Being true to who you are is what drives me to keep watching. Thank you. Lastly, progression in your family. This may seem like an eyebrow raiser, but you have done right for your family. Including Louise in your videos. Taking her on your trips and NAAM experiences, which as a husband should be a no brainer. However, what I thought was the best, was you were real with all of us, the fans, in being open and honest about getting an office so you could be home more with your family. I think that speaks numbers about who you are. Yes the world wants videos, and time is money, but no amount of money can buy a happy marriage and family life. Be proud of yourself Ola. We once did something with a wooden frame which clamped between the roof and the floor, so we didn't have to put screws into the rented apartment walls of a friend. But it was only for a short time and not with the weight of guitars on it. But i guess somethig like this could work...

Oh, man. As a PC guy who can't stand seeing cables, i have a major desire to manage all those cables, Ola!
I will become a paying friend if you manage them! Use cable raceways, zipties etc.
I recommend 3M dual lock to mount all those power blocks in the computer rack. You can also get all fancy with cable ties and mounting brackets if you want to be extra about it. I would. But I like doing projects like that.

You can use a Smart Plug / Outlet to remotely turn the fan unit on and off.

I'd probably opt for putting all that computer rack gear in one of the other rooms and connect to it using LAN - Either run a long ethernet cable or use powerline adaptors. Make it easily accessible from any of the work stations in the front office space too!

No idea how pc tech savy you are, but a couple of Noctua fans in the cooling rack will be a lot quieter and will probably move as much air. If that sort of upgrade is even possible.

I agree with all the other PC nerds: You could probably jam some simple 120mm-fans in the rack, just screw them on the side somewhere and have the RPMs adjustable. Would be a lot quiter if you could hook them up to some controlling unit.

OLA! I would look into mounting some Corsair ML140 mm fans in your rack. ML stands for magnetic levitation: the fans levitate from the chassis using magnets minimizing sound transfer and they are very quiet while pushing a high amount if air. Noctua fans would work as well. Huge fan! Cheers.

Yep they'll hear it! Pro tip replace the fans with PWM Fans with FDB's(Fluid Dynamic Bearings) in it, or use Noctua fans (which the new ones use SSO2 bearing) , also make sure to use rubber mounts to reduce vibration! It just return that shitty fan and get a good one with the above parts, Nidec Motors are good and quiet as well. Make sure you get a minimum of a 6yr warranty or it's a crap replacement!
