EVH 5150 Overdrive

Surprisingly I've never tried this pedal before now. First Act guitar with a low output PAF-ish humbucker into Boss SD-1 into 5150 OD into AMT F1 clean preamp pedal into Mosvalve SS power amp. SM57 on a Sheffield 1290 speaker loaded in an Emperor 4x12. iRig Pre HD into iPhone 6S. Same recording setup as always. Cheap and yet good enough.

If I have a tube amp .. or I'm using and OD ... the SD-1 is always out in front! They should have called that pedal "ELEVEN".

Awesome! But shouldn’t the sd go after ? Jw, maybe you have tried both and this is best way ?
