So you don't use a regular video camera . Great camera resolution for sure. I put 1/2 inch cork board 2'x3' against the wall behind my monitors for mostly sound proofing. I have home made sound diffusers that work great but the cork wall keeps the Wife happy when I'm playing and she's watching TV. So I gather that you really like the Kemper, better than the AxFx? Maybe? Great home studio. Love your equipment.

OLA: A trick that I always do for recording guitar: I use one instrument input on the front panel of the AudioBox 1818VSL to record the direct signal of my guitar. I reroute the same signal from an output on the back, going to my amplifier, with a Shure SM57 capturing the amp sound. In the AudioBox VSL software, I mute the DI input so all I hear is the amplifier signal. (The DI signal isn't really something I want to listen to while tracking, since I just use it if I want to re-amp later.) But I’m still recording both the DI and the amplified signal. That way, I can dial in a desirable sound and keep myself in the mood for playing, with a chance to re-amp the DI later if I ever want to use a different amplifier.”
    Cananyone explain this better.
if you connect 1818vsl output to guitar amp input will you damage ur amp or audio interface?

    Sweet studio!
I have request for a video. If you get the opportunity, could you do some sort of studio amp testing? What I mean is, comparing like Mesa, Orange, Engl, Marshall, Diezel, and other big brands with the same amp setting and guitar. I think its hard to get a good idea of these metal cabs sounds compared to each other.
Please thumbs up if you would like to see this as well

what socks give you the best tone?
For me the blue wooly ones work best. you can stack the socks and get a warm and bassy tone from the woolys and then some sparkling highs from hooped cotton socks.
