Intriguing topic for a video! I guess growing up the daughter of an AV engineer (and now following in his footsteps), I have never liked earbuds nearly as much as full-on, over-ear headphones. But I'm still curious enough to watch this. 🙃 I personally use noise cancelling Sony headphones that are both Bluetooth and wired. (The cable can be plugged in or removed.) Just a random note - Whenever my contractors test our setup for an event, they tend to use songs by Led Zeppelin and Boston and then some random pop songs.
Yeah over the ear headphones are still the best. I have my Sony XM5s for travel and wired Sennheiser 660s for editing at the desk. That reminds me I need to listen to some Zeppelin and Boston today...
Thanks so much for this detailed video! I'm surprised no one cares to review wired earbuds anymore - especially this one being Google's Wired Earbuds vs. Apple's. I'm interested in knowing what you've preferred to use since recording?
Was buying one last night and noticed Google’s one is more expensive than Apple. I asked recommendations and the guy who worked at JB Hifi said for listening to music the Google one is better, but for talking on the calls, the Apple one is better (Apple has better microphone).
I used the EarPods everyday when editing videos. For $20, they are arguably the best value Apple product available right now.
Holy shit!! Thank you so much for this video. You are probably the only one to make this video. What a god send
