If Brailsford is integral in transfer negotiations i am a bit worried about that ; Brailsford isn't a football person and at times he gives me a bs artist vibe. Blanc is the current interim CEO and Wilcox was i believe just a DoF at So'ton ; those two are very qualified and should be the main people handling transfers right now imo. And do question the priorities a bit with CB (though to be determined who we actually sign), as much as us fans and fan channels talk about Todibo those links do not seem red hot of late. A tall pacy modern right footed modern top notch CB to pair with Licha should have been the priority. Tosin on a free a bit underwhelming for that role and Branthwaite of course i'd sign but he isn't the most mobile and still a raw left-footed CB. For me Licha and JB does not seem the best CB partnership balance wise. Licha , Tosin and Branthwaite lets say are our primary CBs next term with potentially Maguire (if he bafflingly stays) doesn't fill me with major confidence and wouldn't say best balance of profiles and attributes that CB crop.
@@robad3314 and we've seen non-football people running this club before , it doesn't go well and other top clubs would use non-footballing people in such positions. Plus we have a few very competent football people / execs appointed who are way more qualified who should be running transfers for the moment. Ntm if Brailsford is heavily involved with OGC Nice and INEOS' Swiss club (which i suspect he is) , not like either club of theirs doing well or run particularly well either.
