Yoro looks to be a future star but its so rare for such a young CB (teenager) to be ready and able to make that impact and consistency we need and at a big club in the PL no less. Especially spending a sizable chunk of or budget to do so. If the money is there absolutely bring him in but we need more experienced stable CB option as well. I do think Yoro likely well clear of Kambwala's level without a doubt. Just seems like the links for that ready to go finished article CB been quieter of later with the likes Todibo or Bremer etc. Tosin and Branthwaite , Branthwaite and Yoro - not sure that makes the immediate impact and provides that stability we need consider the calamity that has been our CB options this term. We need at least one finished article top quality ready to go type CB signing this summer.

How do you sell a mediocre player on £200k a week? Antony is going nowhere, Sancho will be a loan at best as no one is paying him £350k a week or Maguire on £190k a week. I think we will struggle to sell Donny too. We all know who needs to go but back in the real world, who exactly is buying these overpaid players? Even Shaw is on over £150k a week. We may sell Greenwood if we don’t get too greedy along with AWB, Ericksen and McTominay. Selling Casemeiro won’t bring anything into FFP as we probably still owe something to Real Madrid as you pay for them over a number of years. Same would apply to Sancho and Antony even if you did sell them. All this talk of let’s sell so and so to raise money isn’t as simple as many think! The other major thing to consider is that our next financial year doesn’t start until 1st July so unless we sell first, we aren’t buying anyone until then. We can set up deals but we can’t finalise them and why we never have done any business in June in the past. Too many live in the world of Football manager and not real world transfers!
It's all about the FFP. If we look at the FFP cost of some of the players who we'll be getting rid of:
Casemiro £36m per year
Varane £31m per year
Sancho £29m per year
Antony £28m per year
Martial £20m per year
Just getting rid of those 5 frees up about 35% of our FFP wage budget, and about 30% of our FFP amortisation budget. That can be spent on new players. There should be enough cash.
But yes, there might be some pain with the likes of Antony & Sancho, we might have to sub some of their wages, but we will still be better off for FFP by getting rid of them. Nobody said this was going to be easy, we've got ten years of damage to undo.

Great analysis. To take some pressure off. Sack the coach and take Sancho and Greenwood back. Both guys can assist Hojlund. An effective attack line is the added value.

We need player in f&@ing every position . If you are going to say about Rashford and Garnacho . Rashford plays well only for first year of new manager or last year of his contract. Garnacho is very raw and lacks game sense and is not compatible with Hojuland . No comments on Antony. CDM we are doomed . We need backup for Bruno . Mainou did good but how long? He is young he will crumble at one time . CB apart from Leecha all are Championship material . Fullbacks Shaw is not dependable after his long injury . Dallot did good but can he repeat ? . With Euros lots of injuries could happen . So where is team ?

Saying it will take a few years to judge ineos like fans said it would take 3-5 years for ten hag to challenge for titles yet year two fans already turned on him so don’t see fans lasting long in favour of ineos. No patience from young fans these days,no understanding of progress that isn’t linear
With INEOS the worry with me is their sporting endeavors haven't gone very well in general. Don't watch cycling but believe their cycling team has fallen off and they haven't had the best influence with the F1. And most importantly for us their football clubs not doing particularly well or particularly well run. OGC Nice were in the CL for a couple seasons a few years before INEOS came in and basically regressed or stagnated since the INEOS takeover (believe haven't been in the CL under INEOS). With INEOS' resources and supposed competence no reason Nice shouldn't be 2nd or 3rd every season in that league with such backing. Their Swiss club was relegated once under INEOS' ownership and as of a few weeks ago were fighting it off again.
To me INEOS have a lot to prove and I am wary that their track-record in sport very hit and miss ; their football clubs in particular not doing particularly well. Lets hope INEOS get it right with us but to me its naive to think they are definitely going to get it right or even eventually take us back to the top considering their track-record in sport. Lets hope they do , but far from a guarantee.

@@Alexander07882 well at least i'd say nowhere a guarantee of success or that they necessarily even know what they are doing in sport , football in particular. Some people just seem to be overhyping INEOS' reputation and competence in sport ; while ignoring their sporting & football track-record. They might get it right and I hope they do for our sake but hardly a certainty that some claim.

We have about £100 million under FFP and whatever we net in sales. Don’t forget we don’t pay full price up front so it’s not just a simple buy and sell transaction. And we will still owe on some we sell so won’t get the full amount there either

His track record in sport says it all. He has taken Team Sky (now Ineos Grenadiers) from the Top of Cycling to an average Team. Nice are only average in France. So we cannot expect United to be great again.
