i bought a Blue 2022 MT-07......purchased a windscreen from Puig....told them my MT-07 was a 2022.......they sent me the wrong bracket....for an 18-19 0r a 2020....i tried to return it but they said NO...you bought it online, not from us....basiclly said F-U....i checked my credit card & thankfully, they screwed up & didn't bill me.... so i ordered another windscreen over the internet, from a different company.........counting tax it was 38.oo but same thing as Puig, it too was the wrong bracket.....but i can send it back & get my 38.oo refund....so i'm buying one from Yamaha.....for 124.oo......i give up....
Thank for watching! Apologies for the delayed response, it seems we were having notification issues. The link to eBay show it fits the 2018 and 2019 models. However there is another RUclipsr whom in his videos he says it fits the 2015-2017 models. The link he provides will take you to the same item as our link.
Thanks for watching! By tall enough your referring to how high up the windscreen sits above the gauge pod? I felt the same before I installed it but was pretty satisfied with it once completed. I was looking for something that sat higher but couldn't find many at that time that kept the contour of the bike, they all were tall and tacky to me.
it doesnt really matter, i got the taller one from aliexpress (at that time 18 euros excellent quality) The bad thing with the 07 is that the air passes and hits you from the space behind the steering wheel and the main body. I was moving at around 70km/h and i used my hand to understand where the hell air was coming with the taller windscreen and its right there you can check it yourself, under the display between handlebar and main body...so they are kinda pointless i didnt see much of an improvement (for sure it deflects some air) but it looks better now as far as asthetics goes for my taste.
Much better installation video than most
Thanks for watching!
Thank you, I try hard to explain and show things in detail making it easier for those who look for help!
Just put this on my bike today! Nice video bro
Nice video bro!!
Thanks for watching! And thanks for the compliment!
How's the windscreen at highway speeds?
I apologize for the delay, at higher speeds I was able to tell the difference in the wind deflection. almost felt like riding my fairing bike.
@@3rdgear877 Appreciate the info! I bought one after watching your video!
@@justinleung6008 how are you liking your windscreen?!
3rd Gear It works great deflecting wind off my chest. I definitely notice a difference!
