Thank you, also led indicators, flipping the dash to negative would make it a touch more modern imo, I did it to mine and loved it so yeah. Beautiful bike man
Hey Zaamir! Thanks for the feedback man, I appreciate it! I have looked into LED turn signals and I am not sure I have found a set I am happy with yet. As for the dash flip, I do think they look great so it's something I will look into! 👍
Brilliant mods. Absolutely fantastic! Getting my MT07 soon, and so happy to have found your channel. Love how you kept the plate hidden haha! Well I won't mention at 6:18 winkwink
The thing which made a massive difference was changing the lousy OEM tyres on my 2016 MT-07. I changed them to Mitchilin Road 5. Changed the characteristics of the bike. More sure footed. No more tram lining on crap roads. Cornering more confidence inspiring. I decided to keep the Bike stock. Can't justify paying up to £1000 on a new exhaust
Nice 👍🏻 Unfortunately you covered your license plate earlier only to show it at 6:18 😆 I want one, or mt09, or tracer 9gt, or mt10….too many choices. I guess my favorite would be the MT09 but sound like the MT10 engine
Thanks for running though all the mods. I"m considering an MT-07 as my next bike. Been riding for a long time and looking for a middle weight that is a good canvas to slowing mod and your bike is a great example. Enjoy the ride!
Thanks very much for reaching out! The bike is in exactly as you say, a great middle weight with tons of room for modding as you go. You wouldn’t be disappointed, ride safe!
Nice bike!!! I’ve had a fz 07 for 5 years now and my best mod was after watching Dave moss video about the fz 07 fork problem… I followed his advice on that video and the difference is just unreal pls check it out you gonna fall in love with your bike all over again…
You have done some great mods. I have 2019 MT07 I have both windscreens, I have front, rear axle woodcraft and frame sides. I did same mod headlight. TST levels and blinks front and rear with a tag tidy and TST rear spools chain to adjust chain and woodcraft rear stand I lube my chain every 200 miles. I also put woodcraft bars on 1.5 risers. Michelin road 6. I so lowered my front forks 9ml bike handles better.
Like the mods man. I have a 2019 MT07 and have a lot of the same mods, some different brand names. But I'm diggin the blacked out look of ur bike. Safe riding.
The first thing should have been the turn signals try TST Idustries quality good price and selection. Get the air filter and flash but check out the Dyno Jet 3 before sending it out for a flash. Bike kooks good but the turn signals are killing me. What year is the bike.
Love the bike man. Mine looks super similar right now. Check out an integrated tail light to get rid of those rear turn signals, and then some flush front turn signals and this thing is looking *chefs kiss*
@@massmotos4294 Also i know most people will tell you a KN air filter, but I put a MWR Performance Foam Filter on mine with the full M4 Exhaust, then purchased a custom mapping from TwoWheelsDyno and mapped it myself. Its a complicated but fun process.
Great video and great bike! I have a question, I am planning to buy MT-07 as my first bike and I am wondering, what's the benefit of custom levers over the standard ones?
@@massmotos4294 i'm waiting on my 2022 MT-07 to arrive in the next 2 months....i went ahead & bought the same windscreen you have....& was surprised you didn't upgrade the seat to a Corbin....i did...it's still in the box awaiting the bike....it's a BIG improvement over the stock seat....
For you quadlock whats the holder you have? I have the bar holder mount and yours looks different to the mirror holder off their website. Also what did you use to plug the holes of the old mirrors?
how's the posture with the ultralow handlebars? been thinking on putting these on my bike when I do get it. is it more sport-bike like? or just slightly lower?
Overall the lower bars and windscreen do make a difference on the freeway. The screen gets air moving much higher up towards my helmet, making for less wind pounding my chest!
Why no radiator guard? On a lot of the lists I’ve seen people have it as one of their first mods to do. Sorry I know this is an old vid, I’m getting a 22 mt07 and putting together my list of things to get done
👍 Nice bike. Check TST. I just got a brand new 2021 07 and saw another 2021 with a taillight/blinkers from a company called TST. Check them out. They also have front blinkers that also are L.E.D and they are beyond bright. Plus you can color coordinate them. Just a fellow 07 owner letting another one know. Again great mods. Oh 1 question, " do the bar end mirrors get in the way at all?" Are they better than stock and if so why?? 👍😃
Thanks Patrick I will definitely check them out! My bar end mirrors do not get in the way at all and I really like that they are beyond my shoulder width. It gives me a great viewing angle behind. And of course, I love the look of them over stock! Safe riding and enjoy the bike!
Are the tank stickers stock? If not where can I get such dark colored stickers as i have just done a new all black paint job on my bike and can't use the stock stickers
Hey Robert, so I can’t speak to how the cb650r rides as I haven’t been on one yet. I will say that the parallel twin in the MT07 is like no other engine in its class. Tons of character, great torque curve, and amazing sounds! Either way I don’t think you can go wrong 👍
That’s a great question, I have considered it but haven’t explored much to be fair. There’s no doubt people have wrapped these bikes many times though!
I just buy a 23/24 mt07, and I have a couple of doughts, maybe u can help: Very bumb front, is there something to make the front suspension softer on bumps? And it gets very hot, on the city, I mean very, on traffic lights and cool a little when im get it to ventilate on higher speeds, it happens in yours too?
Hello, I was thinking about getting the same mirrors. I own 2020 Yamaha MT07 and I just wanted to ask if you could fit the mirrors easily or if you needed some type of reduction because of shredded inside part of the handlebars or if you had to pull out the inside part of the original bar-end. Thank you for your answer. 😃
I had no problems with my mirrors when installing! Just took out the factory bar ends and screwed in the mirrors, just don’t make the mistake of tightening them to the point of destruction. Doesn’t take too much for them to hold well!
9 months late but if you're still wondering, I am 5'4" and can put both of the balls of my feet down. I'm sure you'll be fine, I rode my dad's KLR650 a bunch and had to scoot over to one foot it, and got comfortable doing so, think it helped me pay more attention and prepare better in the long run.
Absolutely, it’s one of my favorite mods. Such a massive difference in lighting from stock! I recommend changing out the running lights to LED as well 👍
Don't like the new MT-07. Ugly Head light thingy. The original design was just perfect. Even the lights on the one which came after it makes it look too gawky. The smaller headlight of the original gives it more of a brutish look.

I have a question, I am planning to buy MT-07 as my first bike and I am wondering, what's the benefit of custom levers over the standard ones?
Hello.. Nice video...
where did you get the Exhaust - LeoVince Underbody EVO II ?
do you have a link?
Thankfully
why didn't you buy the larger wind screen...?
Truthfully, it was more about the aesthetics. I do get wind protection using this smaller one, and I just didn’t like the look of the bigger one.

what did you do for fuel management? ECM flash,EJK controller, power commander, intreface to a laptop?

how's the posture with the ultralow handlebars? been thinking on putting these on my bike when I do get it. is it more sport-bike like? or just slightly lower?
I wouldn’t say more sportbike like. I am 6’1” and it just extends and separates my arms a bit more comfortably.
@@massmotos4294 hmm, okay, being 6'1" too I will look into getting these.
does the lower bars and wind screen help on the freeway. I had an fz07 and the wind blast was crazy. It felt like It was being blown off the bike.
Overall the lower bars and windscreen do make a difference on the freeway. The screen gets air moving much higher up towards my helmet, making for less wind pounding my chest!
Is the tune not needed but highly recommended since you have an aftermarket exhaust?
I haven’t had any trouble, but yes ideally I should get the bike tuned to the new exhaust.
EVOTECH Levers are the best
EVOTECH radiator guard
EVOTECH sliders
Screen
Exhaust
That's all l need

@@massmotos4294 they look so glad damn cool ..and they don't get in the way of the clutch or when braking??
Not at all when properly positioned, and I used these with the stock levers too. The new levers I have make for even better spacing 👍
Can those mirrors be placed upside down? I'm interested in them but I´m not sure if they would fit without touching the tank
My assumption is they would interfere with full steering lock and hit the tank. But I have not verified that.
