📈 Part 1: DPS Heroes to Master 📈
This is the first part of our DPS "Unranked to GM" journey, and I'm excited to share some valuable insights with you! I’ve worked really hard to make this video better than other content creators and to ensure it's truly educational.
In this video, I’ll be showcasing key DPS heroes that are essential for success on various maps:
Tracer - The best DPS hero for pushing payloads and securing entry picks from flanks. Her high mobility and 1v1 prowess make her a dominant force on nearly every map.
Sojourn - Excellent for covering long-range and burst damage needs. Her one-shot capabilities and mid to long-range damage are top-notch. She's vulnerable to dives, so mastering Cassidy for brawl maps like King's Row is a must.
Echo - Great for diving with high burst damage and excellent sustain. Echo shines on maps like Watchpoint Gibraltar with her potent ultimate.
Your core DPS hero pool should include Tracer, Sojourn/Cassidy, and Echo to ensure you can adapt to any situation and support your team effectively.

When you said Junkrat only works when people are bad enough to follow the bait into his dungeon makes sense why I see him so much in my world of hard stuck gold. These videos are great information by the way, so much better than just watching mechanical showcasing with no explanation.

Worth saying here @ 2:25:20 when you throw blizzard through the Bap window, it actually deals 170 damage over 4.25 seconds in the entire AoE which is kinda crazy.

I’m masters support and tank rn. Now I’m tryna get masters dps before I start the support gm grind. What dps do you suggest I play. I was thinking something like cass mei soj widow(not much widow). I would just do cass ash widow but I don’t like all of the different senses. I was also thinking about changing one of them with phara or echo cause I’m not much worse on them. I think I actually have my most hours on genii but I’m so used to inting with him so I don’t play very well. I think I saw you playing genii, so that pick might be even more reasonable If you are making an unranked to gm.Tracer is too hard or I would try her( I already did and I got a lot better but I’m done with that).
3:17:00 you played terrible that game, wasted tons of time and created frustration on your teamates when u switched Cassidy, doing absolutely nothing, you started flaming all your teamates. blaming the healer, when u was just chasing the damn ball, instead of focusing the mercy, it was frustrating see you just get baited over and over and over again trying to kill the ball with obviosluy not success, because you never gonna kill the ball if you completely ignore the mercy, wich, so many times was just 1 shot away because your other DPS was actually trying to do the correct thing. So i just dont get hows every others fault that loss while you just got baited all the time shooting the ball instead them supps
@@crisshardy might be one Bad Game dont Care enough to Look through it again. I Just saw 50% of time I played Echo and Shooting ball is Not a Bad Thing. Especially with the comp Advantage we Had.

Got resently a PC for gameing and thought of starting with YT because i have the time.
I Playe OW2 on Controller with PC friends.
Haven't played aktive ranked since OW1(dia peek OW1).

I'm losing a lot of games where i'm carrying/top fragging/gold damage in dps. Is there something i'm fundamentally doing wrong? The one thing i thought of is timing could be off where i'm getting the kills but i don't know and it's frustrating.
If you’re not winning the game - you’re not carrying. Fragging and top damage is irrelevant; why are you even looking at that? Focus on the game and stop stroking your ego. You’re probably tilting yourself.
Team is probably insta dying/dying for no reason, you can have 20 more elims and 7k more damage than your teammates but it doesn’t change anything if the team is dead
@@ecciq That's exactly it, i'll dive to kill the backline and as soon as i get a kill or two, the tank or 1 dps killed my entire team. It seriously baffles me how some people are that bad.
@@tyler_oxide I'm a tracer main, my job is to frag the right people. Obvioously i can do it better which is why i'm self aware to know i'm doing something wrong from my above comment. I'd say that's the opposite of an ego. I said i'm top fragging kills, i shouldn't have said damage bc you're right that's irrelevant. It's annoying when i get 4 kills and a tank kills my entire team. But i wonder if i can get better to stop that.
@@kambido890For tracer and dive heroes I would say the timing is key. If you're late in your setup and engagement your team is stuck in a 4v5 for too long so even if you get a pick you've likely lost teammates in the meantime. Just my take.
