Never ever ever!!! Put match highest earner in a contract and linked to that is if possible never let your DOF negotiate a contract unless they are really good. It not only makes a players contract go insanely sky high wages wise especially up the leagues but makes them horrible to sell as most clubs won't touch them from the wages aspect and the player likes having that clause In their contract then. Yeh 100 % with the star ratings. I look at them like a very rough guide. But more important is - could they fit into your core group ? do they have the ideal attributes you need to fill that positional gap ? what is their personality ? and obviously their career stats. Player dynamics is another one you mention and is SUPER important and I agree with it being up there with tactical decisions. The amount of destruction one player can wreck is phenomenal, just sell him ! He brings his mates into it next thing 8 of your players are in a foul mood and it is pretty clear team form will plummet. Good video !
Things not to do: - Sign “RUclips” Players. Every RUclipsr signs the same players. Be original, use players that dont have the “best” potential. Makes saves more fun knowing you are using a player you “discovered” and does well. - Letting the A.M. do the training. - not researching the club you are doing. Doing a brief dive in to the teams history and culture can make the save more fun. Especially for lower level sides like Havre AC.
Another big advantage of the shortlist-system is that u get updates of the player you shortlisted. If he gets loan listed, it shows in ur inbox. If he gets transfer listed, it pops up in ur inbox. If there is an accepted transferbid form another Team for a shortlisted player it pops up in ur inbox. Guys, listen to jake here. Use shortlists to ur advantage.
'Ask Agent' option when you want to bid for a player is good where you can know his expected transfer value say in the range of 10 mil-20 mil. You also know his expected wages and playing time.
Good video. Especially the first one. I never paid the stars too much attention. It paid extremely well in my FM12 Torino save, in which I used as my first choice leftback Pavel Vidanov, with two stars, but he was amazing and thanks to him I got to the semifinals of the Champions League for the first time. I would've got to the final, perhaps won it, if the referee didn't decide to steal it (genuinely wrong penalty call he did against us and also a wrongly disallowed goal, I complained about both in the press conference and both got the UEFA silent). The biggest mistake is getting angry at a loss and go to the forums to complain the game is rigged and what not. It's your tactic, of course, just because it doesn't seem an immediate consequence, it is. It always is.
Would highly recommend using the unwanted list and selling for value. If that doesn't work, offer them out unspecified and see what you get. Then normally I let my director of football get on with it again. I have sold players for huge amounts doing this, but some do have to do sold for half value eventually.
Star ratimgs is based on club reputation and and coach badges. A 3 star club reputation with silver badge coach can judged a player 5 star even if stats is not that high
I think my biggest mistake was buying this fucking game. My girlfriend is pissed at me, my friends are pissed, I havent left my seat, and well yeah, Ive put in over 150 hrs already.. thanks for the tips tho

I have played Football Manager on my phone for about a year now, getting a pc in August i believe. Would it be worth getting the PC game aswell?
