Shall. Not. Be. Infringed
I'm European, I'm for gun control in Europe, but I don't see how this is fucking hard for Democrats. "Shall not be infringed" is pretty fucking clear, just deal with it, making these laws is ripe for some actual impeachment as they are knowingly and blatantly going against the constitution.

The US Supreme Court already ruled that ammo restrictions are unconstitutional.
This law would be struck down instantly only on the basis of that one small point.
I don't think that tyrant "governor" cares, considering the law they're pushing isn't just unconstitutional on the federal level, but also unconstitutional from the state level, considering Virginia's own constitution is a helluva lot clearer on the second amendment than the federal one is.
AntiSkillshot Of course the lower court could side with the petitioners. But stuff like this happens all the time. Cities often abridge people’s rights on purpose or accidentally.

The number of Americans who will fight is probably the same percentage it was in 1776, about 3 percent.
@Gilded Chamber ~ "But it would never happen here ..."
Until it does.
@Gilded Chamber True, that is why history repeats itself all the time. Just like now, it is not happening to us if we live in a different state, so no one is taking time off work and driving there to demand a stop to this nonsense and stop the bleeding from spreading to your state. Maybe by the time it hits your state you are the last state and no path to stop it by then.
I personally do not own a gun, I am bipolar, I take meds and it is under control, but no point in taking chances, however I support other's right to own a gun. As long as they aren't bothering me and being responsible, it is really none of my business if you even own a gun.I just don't understand how the politicians are soooo stupid that they think criminals will follow the law, or think that they even bought a gun legally. The ONLY pp that will follow this law are the ones that would never use their gun to harm another. This is like declawing a cat and throwing it outside with a bunch of mean stray cats.
So basically they are taking away your right to protect you and your family. Since that is the case, I think every time someone dies b/c the police do not get there on time, that could have protected themselves with a gun, that they should be able to sue the city for the death of their loved one that died. If they are going to take away your RIGHT to protect yourself then they should be responsible for protecting you, and every time they fail they get sued.

I'm beginning to see a yearly pattern of this "issue" of gun control
My county, Tazewell County, is starting a militia, which means, by our county’s law, the National Guard has to let the militia handle the “law” and they are not going to confiscate. The sheriff office has already stated they will not confiscate anyone guns. Nobody will take my or my family’s guns.
What do think of Razor's bench warrant as hypothetical means of confiscation (it would still require cooperation of local police)? I'm not knowledgeable of gun laws - but it doesn't appear there is a state registry. Could hand gun licenses and concealed carry permits be used to officially identify gun owners? If a open coup doesn't occur, this would appear to open the door for a black market of gun sales.

Unfortunately, MS-13 has established a stronghold just outside DC and Virginians do need their guns more than ever to protect themselves from this threat as well as from that posed by those who want to unlawfully change our Second Amendment! 2A rally day in Richmond at the capital. Jan 20, 2020. We need all true patriots to come.
Sadly I am thinking Civil War 2.0 is on the way. Lock and load while you can.
It ain't sad it's necessary

So much for their argument that demographics aren't destiny huh?
Good old Ralph "I'm allowed to wear blackface because I'm democrat" Northam
Al jolson was Jewish
Yea I caught my mistake....
As a Virginian who is following this in person I have a few things to add.
1) The democrats are slightly changing the bill, but it's still bad and has the red flag law.
2) The Culpeper sheriff said he'd deputize thousands of people to protect the second amendment if the national guard is deployed.
3) Tazewell, a county down in the southwest of the state, has enacted their right to a county funded militia in opposition.
4) There are several recruitment initiatives for unofficial militias.
5) In the state constitution it says we can impeach a politician with a petition. Right now that front of the movement is highly unorganized.
6) Corey Stuart, a republican politician in the state, is advising citizens to buy their loved ones guns for Christmas.
Clicked like right off the bat. Razor whips out his piece: GOES INSANE MASHING LIKE
I believe there is signatures on a recall adding up real fast
The Virginian Right had but one thing to say: _Come and _*_take_*_ them!_
In Wyoming, its illegal for government officials to take your gun unconstitutionally
Damn right! It's felony with a pretty heavy fine and jail time attached. Guess that why StagArms moved to Cheyenne and Weatherby to Sheridan. Wonder when Casper, Gillette, Rock Springs, and Riverton are gonna get gun manufacturers? Also don't forget the largest firearms collection in the world up in Cody and them toys are still functional, as in Big Igloo compliant. I guess don't mess with the most heavily armed state... We still are the most heavily armed right? Like March of this year we were number one, not to mention lowest homicide and violent crime rate.
Politically, I love Wyoming. As a trucker, I hate Wyoming. Those high winds man
The law is whatever the people with the most firepower agree upon.

Fixing to be. These people are communists and are taking over.

agree, state electoral colleges are needed
Who else dreams of president razor fist ending his inauguration speech with “god fuckin’ speed” in 2028?
Republicans need to vote in all elections.
Yes, problem is Democrats vote too.
elections have consequences
I live in Virginia and own a f/n 509 and I have four 17 round magazines. Thankfully my county unanimously voted to become a 2nd amendment sanctuary.
lol gun control
Gun control just like world peace is a lie.
Key word being 'control.'
its not about guns
“Virginia representative believes the national guard will need to be mobilized to enforce this new law.”

Aren't firearms extremely difficult to obtain there?
@@robotbjorn4952 handguns are flat out illegal it would have to be deactivated I think the term is to own it rifles and shotguns are level in some cases but I couldn't tell you off the top of my head, being a land owner is one I think of which is shockingly easy to believe it or not but a license is required and I think that there limitations on the amount of ammo the gun can carry as well but I'm just going off memory of some stuff I looked up last year

Everyone I've ever talked with on the issue has told me that obtaining a gun in the UK is a major pain in the ass.
I think you _can_ own a handgun, but that it has to meet a minimum length requirment, which is accomplished via faggy "balancing rods" and faux silencers.
@@robotbjorn4952 ah yeah they're meant to be a ridiculous length so you can't hid the in a coat without coming off as suspicious looking, never tried to go through buying one so I've no idea so honestly Cannie comment on it

Central Virginian here, and I would be perfectly happy if Northern Virginia pulled a West Virginia by breaking away to become the 51st State!
The right to self-defense is a God-given right. We need more gun liberties in this country. National conceal carry reciprocity would be a great start. While we're at it, repeal the NFA, GCA, and FOPA. Make it easier to obtain suppressors, short barrel rifles/ shotguns and AOW's.
Americans, IN THE NAME OF GOD FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS! Do not let these fascists roll over you. Protect yourselves and bear your arms. Do not end up like Venezuela!
Take Richmond before they take you Virginians.
American to government: NO!
It's time to form independent city states. Everywhere you go the same urban vs. rural divide is screwing up the political process. I'm in Canada, and the problem is even worse here because our provinces are geographically HUGE in comparison to US states. Rarely is there a provincial election in Ontario that isn't decided by Toronto, which makes no sense given how distant it is from the rest of the land mass whose fate it controls. To top it off, our provincial parliaments are unicameral, so there's literally nothing to balance against a popularly elected parliament.
Yours is one of my favourite tube things. Your rhetoric is most impressive and enjoyable. Big fat happy christmas to y'all. Much love. Peace x
