@@kauphaart0 A little more than 7000 democrats voted in their own primary here in Wyoming. 1/3 of the vote that did indeed vote for Liz included democrats that switched party lines and registered same day to vote for her. I know some of these people. These people didn't vote for love of Liz, they voted because they hate Trump.

Okay, turnout was really high.
But a few things.
Cheney asked Democrats and independents to join the Republican Party and vote for her in the Republican primary. If they did, that could explain the record turnout. Not just MAGA Republican enthusiasm, but Democrats attempting to sway the Republican primary for Liz.
If you're a Democrat in Wyoming, you know you're stuck with whatever (R) the Republicans pick. So if you can't beat 'em, join 'em, and nominate the less detestable-to-you Republican candidate.
When I hear about record turnouts in the primaries, and that more Democrats and independents have joined the Republican Party than the reverse, and that's GREAT news for Republicans, I have to ask whether these are sincere crossings of the aisle, or whether they're a cynical political ploy.
Now consider the speech one of the forces behind Brand New Congress/The Justice Democrats gave years ago. Let's call him Z.E. and his primary source of funds G.S. You know. To avoid the "spam" filter.
He proposed to his radical left followers the following method:
1) forward a radical leftist "Republican" candidate in the primaries
2) get your radical leftist base to join the Republican Party
3) get them to elect the imposter in the primaries
4) dumb yokels who vote (R) no matter who will vote for the imposter on election day
This is an actual strategy he proposed, captured on video.
We ALSO have Democrats donating to MAGA Republicans in swing states, because they WANT them to win the primaries. Because they think that in tight races, the "moderate" Republican would be harder to beat than the MAGA Republican. So they want the easier-to-beat Republican candidate to get the nomination.
There's a lot of dirty pool going on here. And I don't think anything is exactly what it seems.
Fair but this stuff isn't happening in a vacuum, that video that razor fist cited showed that it's happening in multiple states not just Wyoming. That said I wouldn't put it past the Democrats to pull some crap like that. We'll see

Note on the last part, Hillary Clinton did that in her election bid. She funded Trump and sabotaged a few of the more 'moderate' republican candidates because she thought Trump would be easier to beat. We all know how that turned out.

A lot of revisionist historians have tried recasting Lincoln as an evil supervillain, but to do so they must ignore the fact that not only did his opinions change over time (Lincoln abandoned the idea of deporting the freedmen once it was made clear to him that the majority didn't want to go, and only by present standards was he racist), many of the sins he committed are sins only in the minds of those revisionists.

When I went door to door for the Hageman campaign, almost everyone voting in person for Hageman was between 25-70 years old, and people 70-95 were the ones voting for Liz (usually mail in too). Very few exceptions.
My 84 year old southern democrat grandmother, despite having almost identical beliefs from Trump and only deviating to become more right wing, hates him. I think older generations see him as too bombastic.

At this point, I'd vote for Razor if he ran for something. He not only understands the issues, but also _why_ the issues exist. It's a lack of candidates like that that got us all into this uniparty mess in the first place.
Vote not for the candidate that tells you what you want to hear, but for the one that understands why you want to hear it.
We need an Amendment which would allow us to recall ANY politician, judge, justice, or bureaucrat, in quarterly elections. This would give the power back to the people, while sending a VERY clear message to all these crooks their time is limited. This Amendment should also establish term limits, and a clear code of ethics for anyone taking an oath of office, being immutable and uninfringeable by any political body.
Damn it's almost like the people just want to be properly represented or something.

The first goes into detail about Lincoln's many unconstitutional and tyrannical acts, and the second shows how Lincoln instigated the firing on Fort Sumter and the author does this using only Federal and Northern sources.

There’s virtually no mention of his more dictatorial measures in textbooks. He’s regarded as some sort of egalitarian messiah in spite of his views on the mass deportation of freed slaves. He’s on currency, buildings, a giant friggin statue of him sitting on a throne. The list goes on and on and on, but he kept our shitty federal government intact, so no one is allowed to criticize him for anything.
