@Banks Shipping, LLC good information, like the business model. Considering a similar set-up, and now realize the importance of a spread trailer axle. 72k (12k steers + 20k drives + 40k trailer spread)
Yes sir
I'm in with a hat and shirt
I see u brother what kind of truck is u running do u still have the pickup truck & trailer ..I am listening teach I am learning good information thank u brother u the best I am glad u is doing this
It’s a Peterbilt 359. Still have the pickup and trailer for now but it isn’t on the road
Hey love your content Bro! Just switched over to a single axle semi from a hotshot. My question is how did you get the 72k gvw? I thought the single was only allowed 65k gvw?
12k steer + 20k drive + 40k on the trailer if it’s a spread axle
Was wondering what engine, tran, an gear ratio your running, take sum good picks of your cool 359, it's a real classic, that's was my 1st ride
3406b 425, 13 speed, 3.90 rears
Good morning. Is your set good for direct shipper contract setup or you think I can still find jobs on the DAT or truckstop loads?
I do a mixture of both
Thoughts on a F-550 with a 40ft fifth wheel kaufman stepdeck
I’ve heard good things about the 550 but are you planning on moving cars or freight? Or both?
@@banksshippingllc6312 probably freight and equipment
@@codybelcher8496 if that’s the case you might be better off with a 40’ flat. If you get a 40’ step deck the bottom deck length may hinder you unless it’s like a 40’ flat with a deck on the neck.
@@banksshippingllc6312 I'll have to call Kaufman again and get them to clarify about that. If not I was looking at a diamond c as well
@@banksshippingllc6312 kaufmans is a 10ft upper deck, 23 lower and 5ft dovetail with stand up ramps
