okay well in one scene you do see multiple elevators, so that disproves your comment. and a thing everyone forgets is ITS A FUCKING MOVIE so not everything has to make sense. Granted there are plot holes, but none of this is canon in MCU anyway, so why's everybody care so much? i think both films were well made even considering the mess ups in this one.

This movie had some great action sequences and a superior costume to the previous ASM, but SM2 and ASM are much better than this one.

I prefer CinemaSins to honest Trailers usually, but this screen junkies take on cinemasins was much better then their take on honest trailers.

I like the idea of them swapping for a video, since "Everything Wrong With" and "Honest Trailers" basically go hand-in-hand and compliment eachother well. I think the only real issue I had with the CinemaSins "Honest Trailer" for the film was that the audio quality was pretty atrocious. (It practically sounded like it was recorded on an old, beat-up Talkboy FX Plus from the 90's on an ancient cassette tape.) And the fact the announcer put on a different "voice" that made the video sound very amateurish. But outside of that, the "Honest Trailer" video was serviceable and well-written, and I wouldn't mind them swapping again in the future... so long as those issues were fixed.

I feel like they just wrote the lines as if they were going to do the film themselves, and then handed them over when it came time to record. In terms of this crossover, I like the CinemaSins one better. Honest Trailers can be funny, but the voice is a key part in making it so. As long as you don't stumble on your lines, EWW videos are usually funny.

I know not every villain can check out like that, but shit, considering the life Max lived and since he never asked to be what he was, he should've died with some fucking redemption, or at least dignity.

In the comics, it was the momentum of her fall killed her.
Physics pretty much say that the forced amount of web (in a very small size, thanks to metaphor), though enough to grab someone (thanks to Spiderman), does not have enough friction and force to slow down a fall (barley); the opposite reaction of the force, managing to keep Gwen's body afloat, but not her head due to inertia. And considering that it was a very long fall, using the formula (A=Delta V/Delta t, in which Delta G is gravity (9.8 m/s^2)), Gwen's head smacked the concrete, broke her neck, surprisingly did not display a cracked head(bleeding included), and unsurprisingly Sony doesn't understand the human anatomy and physics(and I suck at physics).
Then again, this is a movie-
It's Sony, no wonder why Spidey won't have a chance in a legitimate Marvel movie, or any chance in the big screen.
I'd say that head hitting the ground leading to a loud THUNK was the cause.
It makes a nice reveal, but how is Gwen taken by surprise by Harry in the elevator when it would be literally impossible to enter an elevator without seeing its one occupant.

There were a few you may have missed, like the sheer coincidence of Peter's espionage-themed parentage enabling him to be the one person on Earth who could safely get accidentally bitten by the super spiders, how the cop in the car that hit him during the chase didn't seem inclined to pull over after colliding with someone who may have been seriously injured while stuck to his vehicle's grill, Spidey's bizarre tactic of telling jokes to the rampaging maniac instead of stopping the truck immediately, the incongruity of professional thieves hiring a rampaging maniac to drive the truck full of delicate material through the crowded streets instead of taking a stealthier approach with a more realistic chance of escape, Pete's dad somehow managing to take control of a subway car which he somehow managed to hide under an enormous trap door underground in total secrecy, Harry's inexplicable prowess at overcoming security guards and infiltrating a high security holding facility, his skills at handling equipment he's never even touched, and said equipment apparently being kept fully charged and fueled while in storage.

What was so disappointing about this movie is that it, like BvS, had SO much potential. There were some solid scenes in the movie, the action was good, and Garfield and Stone had great chemistry. Also, Dane DeHaan was well cast for Harry Osborn. But of course Sony had to just try and force a shared universe down everyone's throats, and it backfired.
Oh well. At least Spider-Man is back where he belongs, in the greater MCU.
Well the reason why people didnt like this was because:
1. Same mistakes as Spiderman 3.
2. If you compare the Peter Parker here to the original 2, Tobey was better. (Ya Andrew was great as Spidey)
But here's the thing, if you dont care about the actual person, no one will care about the hero/character.
3. While the villains in spiderman 3 were forced in, some way or other you know why they were villains, the ones in ASM were not properly built.
4. Also the trailer ruined a lot of stuff.
5.The reason why people liked Deadpool was because it didnt have to set a universe.
6. BVS was understandable but forced nonetheless, The reason it didnt work for ASM 2 was because it is just one character and making a deep universe for it.
Nahh I liked bvs there was just a lot to take in for people who aren't up to date with DC's big comic stories.
+Harry G Bofinger and the way those comic elements were shown made little to no sense, and didn't drastically affect the plot in any way. It was just there because..HEY GUYS LOOK, WE'RE BUILDING A UNIVERSE!! What took Marvel 8 years to do, we can pull off in ONE movie!!

You counted the alarms going off as Electro walked pass as a sin. This was actually accurate. Most alarm systems work by the alarm sensing current flow or voltage drop. Electro either triggered current flow or voltage dropping as he drew energy from the parked cars batteries.

Andrew Garfield was a great Spider-man at the WORST possible time. If Sony and Marvel are even considering negotiations at this point, it more than likely won't be Garfield coming back as Spidey if he was to come back in Captain america: Civil War, or Avengers 3: Infinity war. Rumor is that it's gonna be a whole new rebooted franchise in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I honestly think that Andrew Garfield fucking killed it and nailed the humor as Parker and Spidey respectively, but the Amazing Spider-man franchise is so convoluted and distorted that Sony has no option but to sell the rights back, especially after the recent hacks and the loss of money on the Interview. A big FUCK YOU to Sony and Marc Webb for making this garbage; Spidey deserves to be in good hands so let's cross our fingers cuz I'm pretty positive Sony has NOOO plans to making Amazing Spiderman 3.

I completely agreed with you until you blamed Marc Webb. It's not his fault that Sony wanted to sell a bunch of merchandise and micromanage every single little detail on the production. They changed so many things about the original script that should've stayed. They cut so many scenes that made the movie better as a whole. Sony really dropped the ball, not Marc Webb. I'm ecstatic to hear Spider-Man is going to be in the MCU and Sony will be working with Marvel. We Spider-Man fans will finally get the films we deserve!

gwen's death was pretty good, but it could've been better. the sound of gwen's head hitting the ground wasn't dramatic enough, there was not a drop of blood on the ground afterward, and the green goblin should've laughed at them from the top of that tower shortly after peter realizes she's dead.
It was like this because they had to keep it PG13 :/ it's suppose to be ok for kids to go to (even though I wouldn't take a 5 year old to it like I saw some people)

I prefer the old "Accidently snap of neck by Spiderman".
It wasn't impact with the ground that killed Gwen, it was momentum. At the speed she was falling at, and the way Peter chose to catch her, her back/neck broke. That cracking sound wasn't her head, it was her spine.

DeathDealer1997 Yes because interchangeable hacks like Kurtzman and Orci weren't hired to write SM3; it was written by a dedicated (and pretty decent) writing team just under pressure from Sony to add stuff in their story that wasn't supposed to be there (i.e. Venom). ASM2 (and the first one) was the result of producers just wanting to make a generic cash grab to help make more cash grabs and didn't want to encounter conflict with the people they hired to make it like they did with Raimi's team for SM3 and the cancelled SM4. So they hired and inexperienced directors and keep hiring new hack writers for each movie. As a result, it's a generic superhero movie that's really just an advertisement for the Sinister Six. At least SM3 feels like there was a good movie trying to be made as the director tried to made it unique from the rest, i.e. Peter's douchebag dancing as a negative result of the black suit (which wouldn't have happened if he wasn't forced to use Venom in the movie, thus cluttering the script).
Vlad Velasquez I think they made a poor plot just because this movie is a "bridge" for The Sinister Six movie (just as Iron Man 2 is a "bridge" for the Avengers movie, even though I still like TASM2 more than IM2).

Amazing, the 20 minute canceled show, Spectaular Spiderman made me feel more sorry for Electro than a 2 hour movie
That's because the guy was actually relatable, and had actual reasons to go crazy, unlike in this movie.
In fact, most of the villains were really well done in this show.
The94Venom Plus there's always the fact that Electro was voiced by one of the best voice actors ever, Crispin Freeman (Alucard from Hellsing and Hellsing Ultimate).

This year Fox gave us X-men days of future past, Disney gave us Captain America 2, and Guardians of the Galaxy, and Sony gave us Amazing Spiderman 2.
