    You narrowed it down so good. I have my CNA Liscence and have experience as a PCA/ PCT as well. At the hospital I learned so much more. The 12 hours can be taxing. The residents at the nursing homes are super 👌🏽. Totally loved seeing them and taking good care of them. everyday. As Ive move forward into the medical field those certifications and skills have really helped me tremendously!!

    Keep working saving and investing. Build your wealth and net worth. You have great ambition and self motivation. Keep building up skills too to double your income. Pay off a shared residence. Just start with a bedroom bathroom suite with housemates, family friends spouse etc. You're doing great 👍

    FOR PCT do you just take a written state exam to be licensed or u take a written and skills exam ?

    • @makiyabanks
      @makiyabanks  Год назад +2

      being a PCT doesn’t require a license .. they prefer you to be some sort of aide experience but its not required!

    i really want to work in the hospital as a new cna but they aren’t too welcoming if you dont have any prior experience

      yeah some hospital would like you to have some patient care experience but I recommend working at a facility for a couple months then apply at a hospital!

    Becoming a pct do u still have cna lic or turn to pct

    • @alexarivera9236
      @alexarivera9236 Год назад +4

      In nyc , you get your Cna license and to become a pct you need a pct certification. For me that certification quality’s me to draw blood and take ekgs.. which also qualifys you to work at urgent cares hospitals.
