Well, Magi Magi Magician Gal wasn't going to be released because they would change her costume and Kazuki was like "Nope" to that idea, but as a Lost Art, it might work.

The morphtronic lighter turning into a USB stick is so clever that I didn't know it was ever censored until shortly before this stream
They went so hard on this one guy for literally almost zero reason - I almost can't believe they went in so hard to stop children from seeing a robotic lighter. It's hilarious.
and to be perfectly honest I vastly prefer the USB stick.
like it burns people, it's fire, all that fits sure, but also... a USB fits into an archetype electronic gadgets way better than a lighter does

Not necessarily, even without them retracting, there would still need to be holes in the skull for the optical nerves to connect to the brain.

@@homerman76 if ojama yellow evolved from a creature that previously didnt have eyestalk, to having eyestalks, the bigger optical nerve pathways might be a vestigial throwback.
or maybe those optical pathways are super large to compensate for larger blood vessels or thicker optical nerve bundles. perhaps ojama yellow processess visual information faster than we do.

just a thought about dataron, as a kid (who watched a few too many spy movies apparently) I assumed the defense position burn effect was it uploading malware to your opponent and never even considered that that it was meant to be a lighter
I think the biggest reason they can't print the DEATH versions of Destiny Board is that both versions have an "A", but it's in a different position in each. Otherwise I agree.
Yeah it definitely would cause problems, they may not be played normally, but you never know when people are going to try to break any particular card(s) 🤔
If there are problems they could always check the card’s ID
The card’s art would be different but the actual card name would be the same. For example: Spirit Message L would still be that card’s name but the picture of it has an H. Confusing as hell but also funny because of it.

And also, some of the frightfur cards need reprints. I don't think Kraken has a reprint yet.

There is a lost art promo for the dream mirror fusion monster. You know the TCG exclusive deck. So they made the art, thought it was too much belly, then made a slightly different art and released it.
Same with War Rock Skyler. When they brought her to the OCG, they just thought she didn't have enough booba, so they gave her more.

YES, FINALLY! The exact acknowledgement of Power Pros RoTA is all I needed. There's even a NA crossover in Master Duel of Level 4 Warriors but yet the alt art RoTA is nowhere to be found. I hope with how well eBaseball is doing, we get actual physical TCG cardboard.

It’s a series that has been around since the famicom and is super fun if you want a Arcady baseball game that’s cheap and easy to import. It’s legit been on nearly every console I can think of. Also they got a normal monster of harpie lady sisters with the same premotion

On a relatively serious note, Japan has a history of extreme christian persecution, which iirc is one of the causes of it's isolation. It's probably the inspiration for all of the card arts of people dying on the cross.
Sakoku was due to the growing European influence which the growing christian population was emblematic of, so you're not wrong. In any case there's indeed a history of Christian persecution in Japan.

6:13 you know what's funny about the "Power Pro" (or how the h3ll is called that collab) card of DM, they didn't even release this one in the celebration campaign for Master Duel and Duel Links.
We got "Pro Power" Harpie Lady Sisters and Noble Knights instead of this one.

Utopia, or Hope as i call it instead. I just love how literally every Xyz Monster can just kill you in some way should you be willing and able to accomplish it through hordes of negation. The amount of games Victory, Ray, and Draco stole, and even Double, solidified it.

One that I'd like to see lost art for would be a card called Spy-C-Spy. A number of things were removed in the version that we got.

I get that kids play the game but with the media that already consume a few guns, some revealing clothing and a drunk elephant isn't going to affect them in any sort of way
Another argument I have is while kids do play yugioh I'd say a majority of the player base and people that are actually spending big money keeping the tcg alive is over the age of 16 and probably more over 18 so censoring cards just feels a bit stupid

I imagine the logic is that if you're at an OTS buying it then you're probably an adult. And if you're a parent you could see the card and decide whether or not to give it to the kid yourself, but that is both not true and even if it was do you really think the parent is paying that much attention to the cardboard before giving it to the kid? Probably not in most cases and it's really a moot point anyway because all they'd have to do is lie and say the kid bought it themselves anyway if they were looking to sue you so it's not saving them any trouble if that's their concern.
Also, in regards to Ojama Yellow, the eye is technically part of the brain. They were basically just light detection spots on the brain that became mildly separated (having your eye out and able to be poked out is not good but from an evolutionary standpoint is much better than having your entire brain out and being able to be smushed).
Seems they just went with normal mammal anatomy meaning his eyes would still need holes to connect to the rest of his brain.
