And the card you get is a monster that can negate effects at not quick effect speed. Don’t get me wrong I want the main deck masked hero’s too just not cause of contrast I don’t even have a problem with contrast per se as he can do some interesting things in an e-hero masked-hero deck specifically if we got main deck masked heroes. But in game he really only exists as a piece of bait to bait an interruption

Rousing is one of the most powerful individual boss monsters I've seen when not vs chaos attributes and Atlas sometimes just wins you the game by itself by being a towers that is impossible to attack. Also, did you know Tesseract's revival effect is not a once per turn? Yes, that asshole is infinite link fodder. There are so many anime exclusive archetypes that would be so cool to have. If I could only choose one it would probably be Armatos Legio, just because extra linking at the drop of a hat would be fun.
2:50 Armatos Legio are not broken in the slightest. The powerful field spell requires you to be able to discard DIFFERENTLY NAMED Armatos Legio monsters (level 4 or lower) to target their in archetype links, ALL OF WHICH SPECIFICALLY REQUIRE ARMATOS LEGIO MONSTERS.
I would say the Drones actually have a pretty good chance of getting printed eventually. Back in 2020, Konami did a poll on which anime/manga exclusive archtypes should get printed. Drones got 4th place behind Fossils, Sunavalon, and the extra support for the Wicked Gods. Though considering the top 3 got the cards they wanted about 3 years ago, maybe I’m being too optimistic.
I really want the rest of the Darkness cards used by Darkness, the final boss of GX. Just gimme the field spell and the traps for all I care. The mechanic is really cool
i didn't know about season 4 back then so i only found out about darkness even exisiting in like early 2017 through yugioh generations (mobile game). Was a great game for what it was. I was just getting back into yugioh at the time
Did you know that Clear Vice Dragon was actually the boss monster for an entire series of attribute-less "Clear" monsters? They wouldn't make Clear World meta, but at least we'd have a new jank deck that has more than two cards.
My favorite part is that the anime "clear"s are I think DARK-attribute, but then have the effect that says something like "this monster is not DARK" XD
I don't have one in particular, but I think it'd be funny if Konami ever printed the obviously made up cards used throughout DM. The ones that have the generic looking png as an artwork.
There's actually 2 cards I can think of that they could release, although one of them may be an issue. The anime and manga card Turn Jump and the anime-only card Summoning Clock. Summoning Clock would be a fun gimmicky continuous trap without too much use, but Turn Jump may have to be semi-limited.

There are so many neat archetypes that never got printed sadly. Someone in the comments reminded me of Dark Mummy which was a neat control deck based around the virus cards but there was also Armatos Legio as was mentioned in the video. I would love to see these printed one day. Side Note: there was a deck used by the AI duelists from Sol Technologies in Vrains that basically had the same effect as Dark Room of Nightmare. When your opponent takes effect damage from another source, they take a little more damage. Since neither card has a hard OPT and they have different names, I'm pretty sure that dealing any effect damage to your opponent while they are both on field just infinitely combos burn effects until your opponent loses all their life points. So, maybe don't print that one.

I was BEGGING for Judgment Arrows since they were showed in the anime, that card allows some HUGE shenaningans with Knightmares and other links that has to be colinked and i wanted to try all of them Having a card with link arrows that points up-left up and up-right from the S-T zone is so broken
I honestly wanted more S/T in the anime itself that utilized Link arrows, I really thought that’s where Season 2 of Vrains was leading to. But…nah, just…j-just judgment arrows. ok. Oh well. At least you can get Judgment Arrows made on Etsy. I ordered one and it legit looks and even feels like a real card. I use it in Sunavalons with friends and it’s hilariously fun.

I think it's very weird how we never got Kathy's cat deck from Zexal in tcg. Like, don't get me wrong, they're bad cards by the modern day's standards and would be unplayable, but for how regularly she appears it's weird that we got almost nothing.

I'd love to see bastions magnet warriors get made. They had this cute gimmick of placing + and - counters to stop monsters with said counters attacking each other and they could easily take this further in the real game by having them negate effects or being unaffected etc.

I do agree with the first half. but i don't think the reason why there's so few options for anime cards/archetypes left is because Konami has already printed so much. It's more like there's really nothing cool or at least able to have a huge fan base left. I really would like to see Bastion’s Magnet Warriors get printed. It wouldn’t be too hard to convert their Plus and Minus Types into putting Counters on monsters which either force them to attack or negate their attacks. 🤔 The fact that Bastion has datamined Duel Links voice lines for them still gives me hope we might one day see them. 😢
I know we already have Mekk-Lords but I would kill for the Mekk-Lord part cards. The idea of having one big monster made up of a bunch of smaller monsters and being able to swap out pieces for different effects and stuff is so cool. So many people are like "You can never print them cause you could just link spam" and to that I say, have you read most of the cards that let you summon from the deck? Also, Jointech, no particular reason, I just like the lego technic dinosaurs
Drones are not that much more difficult to print then Mecha Phantom Beasts. But the way their effects work and a few specific card interactions that would need special rules means Drones may be a while off yet
I want the performages! I love both performapals and performages but thanks to PePe getting plushfire banned the performage deck has really lost its ability to play on its own, but getting the unreleased cards would allow for a competent pure variant of deck which sounds amazing!
I am biased, but I want Trickstar Birdhelm. It slightly helps the Link variant of Trickstar because I prefer that one over the Lycoris Control that became popular in the TCG. Also I really want the Maiden in Love cards. Where are they Konami? We have the cupids. We have Pitch. It searches Maiden in Love. The cards are already in the video game. They'll suck and will probably never be used, but we could at least get them printed just have them

Hell, I've already seen someone that managed to create a combo line (with a few varieties for when you got negated) that ends with 2 Contrast HERO, Sunrise/Absolute Zero and DPE on turn 1. If you got better hands, you can even end with Plasma and Dark Angel (on opponent's field). And all of this was done in the assumptions that all the main deck Masked HERO monsters are Normal monsters without effect. Now imagine if all of them have effects lmao.
@Kaison122 Not if we're following the current build for heroes. But I'm pretty sure that if MD masked hero are to be printed with good effects then someone could figure out some form of use for them. I mean we never know what MD masked hero could actually do all of them are vanilla in the manga but then again dark law is also a vanilla and Stratos was a lv5 which has amethyst cat effect.

Drones would be so much fun. Honestly an archetype that procs effect after the opponent tries to negate one of your plays would be nice and an interesting way of smacking sense into players that are over reliant on negate spam.
NO ONE MENTIONED CLEAR WORLD?! Clear world itself WAS printed and HEAVILY nerfed as was "Clear Vice Dragon" but the Nightshroud-possessed Fujiwara also used a whole archetype of "Clear" Monsters. Attribute-less representation of his belief that everything would be better if no-one had an individual personality and were "Clear" by punishing them for controlling attributes. However anime "Clear World" ~Might~ just be mystic mine at home...
There’s also the slime cards when Zane turns into dark Zane, the random math and science cards Bastion played, the other union cards Chazz had in season 3, the theater deck Orlando played, the rest of the satellite archetype Lord Ojan played, and the random Lv cards from 5Ds
We do have Cyber Emergency, so it's not impossible to adapt Drones into an archetype that replaces a negated effect with a much more powerful variant. Something like destroy 1 card on the field. If this effect is negated: banish a card on the field. Would love to see more negation protection cards because the ones we have are rare and usually limited to effect activations. Subterror Final Battle and Altergiest Protocol are the only effective examples we've ever had
I used to always ask for the Fossil deck, then we got it. Now I want Bohman's Hydradrive deck (Basically better Charmers) form Vrains and I also agree with Cimooo on the armor cards. Also, we still don't have Dark Guardian
Anime-adjacent support but it'd be kinda cool to have retrains of the Guardians that actually can be summoned like how they were summoned in the show. Just an equip card that can summon the specific monster from hand or deck.
I'd really like for them to print the dark tuners. Their gimmick was very interesting, and even adapted into making the Ursartic monsters, would be nice if they ever tried to rework them into standing out because of that. They could even reprint their respective boss monters into somewhat better versions, like they did with the advanced crystal beasts when they printed them
They printed G-golem last year so think it'll be Stormriders turn this year if they're going to do it year by year. Out of the Vrains archetypes its probably one of the more "easier" ones to import there's no anime only gimmick. Tubieloof will be a money maker, but they may slap on some activation restrictions so it doesn't powercreep over dozen other handtrap cards.
After watching the Arc V anime years ago, I've always was intrigued with the odd eyes archetype and after watching the final duel, the odd eyes gates seemed pretty interesting and ever since then, I've wanted konami to release Odd-Eyes fusion gate, synchro gate and xyz gate
I agree with Alex I want my Power Armor, they could make a deck for each Archetype and have a little action figure to put little bits of the armor on them that would come with it. I figured it would rune you about (& this hurts a hole lot) $64.00 before taxes because of both the figure and the accessories with it.

Dark Synchro monsters could've been pretty interesting. Another monsters that I can think of are Diamond Head Dragon, Gator Dragon, Brain Dragon and Genghis Ghan The Emperor Dragon. And yes, I am a sucker for dragons.

Okay, question time. You're in charge of the next Battles of Legend set. Up to 8 cards from each anime or manga that were never printed, and then a bunch of reprints or really late OCG imports in the back. How do you fill it? Anything that DEFINITELY needs to be in? For instance: First 8 slots go to Armors. 6 monsters and 2 Spells, plus a Trap, makes the archetype a little big, but you could realistically shave off the Trap because it's just Armor Gravitation again. Second 8 slots is a bit harder, at least for me, but I think I'd go with the Spice Deck because it fits the 8 slots perfectly- 3 Spices, 3 vanilla monsters, the stupid curry pot, and Curry Fiend Roo. Third 8 slots should go to some of the Meklord Part cards, giving the Deck a bit more versatility- Wisel Top's 600 boost to an Emperor, plus a OPT negate of any monster effect weaker than the Emperor, might actually let the Deck do something going first besides hiding behind Wisel and praying. Fourth 8 slots . . . I'm half tempted to say Nasch's other "seven emperors" cards, to go with the support he got back in Duelists of the Deep, but I don't think there's enough cards for that. Fifth 8 slots I'd give to the Earthbound Servants. Hell yeah. Sixth 8 slots I almost want to give to Armatos Legio and Judgment Arrows, but the archetype is way too damned big, as is my second choice in Drones. Idk. Reprints in the back should just go to a bunch of big bosses whose prices are still out of control, and some things that haven't seen print in years. Maybe some Gishki cards to go with the new support, an actually accessible Accesscode, the chase cards from the most recent 3-ish Deck Build Packs, CXyz Barian Hope to go with the "seven emperors" stuff, Super Poly targets like Garura and Mudragon, maybe some Ready Fusion targets.
The one archetype that I saw and wanted so bad, was from the character in Arc-V who was being all, controlled by the synchro dimension villain. Thorn Prisoners. Something about these monsters who are based on medival torture methods where their gimmick is they do damage to the users to gain other effects sounds just kinda cool. Somewhat of a self burn with benefits
I've reworked so many anime-exclusive artworks for a ton of people that I can guarantee there's a fan of each and every one of the non released archetypes

We are never getting Armor cards, not without a major overhaul to prevent them from being link or xyz spam Edit: okay, this seems simpler than I intended, but also, YuGiOh seems unwilling to print new ability types. We haven't gotten a new one since Tuners, so I'm doubtful we'll get the Armor ability. Not to mention the Armor ability is rather wordy and limits card design because of that. Also, due to how they spam out 5 monsters at once, it's a lot to keep track of. Think of Meklords and how they were just turned into 1 card. I feel like that's what would happen to Armor monsters, and it would suck.
I would like to see Darkness (the final villain of the undubbed part of GX) gets printed we only have his final boss monster Darkness Neospher with none of his trap or spell cards
While this wasn't an archetype, nor a series of cards that were locked from the anime, I would like to take this opportunity to share my plea for Five-Headed Dragon support. This card was featured in one of the filler seasons of DM, so this does qualify as "anime support". I have memories of this chimera as a child and even in the video game years. I don't need the support to be good, but I would like to summon it easier as well as give it effects based on the attributes it used. If I can't get either of these, then I would like a nod to it by giving it a fusion spell that gives it protection, and a Dragon's Mirror-like effect to fusion summon it. The funny thing about super fusion god is at the time the only way to summon him was with chain material but now with the emz you can have a field of all levels from 1-12 to super poly him

2:50 Armatos Legio are not broken in the slightest. The powerful field spell requires you to be able to discard DIFFERENTLY NAMED Armatos Legio monsters (level 4 or lower) to target their in archetype links, ALL OF WHICH SPECIFICALLY REQUIRE ARMATOS LEGIO MONSTERS.
That's the anime eff, if they would get released in the TCG they would probably add some effects. Like they did with stuff like Ignister

I would say the Drones actually have a pretty good chance of getting printed eventually. Back in 2020, Konami did a poll on which anime/manga exclusive archtypes should get printed. Drones got 4th place behind Fossils, Sunavalon, and the extra support for the Wicked Gods. Though considering the top 3 got the cards they wanted about 3 years ago, maybe I’m being too optimistic.
Quite a few Dinowrestler cards were never printed.
Including a way to special summon their searcher… Who only searches… If special summoned!
I really want the rest of the Darkness cards used by Darkness, the final boss of GX. Just gimme the field spell and the traps for all I care. The mechanic is really cool
Slapping a “You cannot activate Trap cards except “Darkness” Traps would really help with it preventing it from using floodgates as well
i didn't know about season 4 back then so i only found out about darkness even exisiting in like early 2017 through yugioh generations (mobile game). Was a great game for what it was. I was just getting back into yugioh at the time
Did you know that Clear Vice Dragon was actually the boss monster for an entire series of attribute-less "Clear" monsters? They wouldn't make Clear World meta, but at least we'd have a new jank deck that has more than two cards.
My favorite part is that the anime "clear"s are I think DARK-attribute, but then have the effect that says something like "this monster is not DARK" XD

I don't have one in particular, but I think it'd be funny if Konami ever printed the obviously made up cards used throughout DM. The ones that have the generic looking png as an artwork.

There's actually 2 cards I can think of that they could release, although one of them may be an issue. The anime and manga card Turn Jump and the anime-only card Summoning Clock. Summoning Clock would be a fun gimmicky continuous trap without too much use, but Turn Jump may have to be semi-limited.

There are so many neat archetypes that never got printed sadly. Someone in the comments reminded me of Dark Mummy which was a neat control deck based around the virus cards but there was also Armatos Legio as was mentioned in the video. I would love to see these printed one day.
Side Note: there was a deck used by the AI duelists from Sol Technologies in Vrains that basically had the same effect as Dark Room of Nightmare. When your opponent takes effect damage from another source, they take a little more damage. Since neither card has a hard OPT and they have different names, I'm pretty sure that dealing any effect damage to your opponent while they are both on field just infinitely combos burn effects until your opponent loses all their life points. So, maybe don't print that one.
Dude, you have no idea how badly I want to use Clear world! They made 2 cards and then said "that's enough right?" when Dueling book 1st made custom cards a thing I made Clear world.
I was BEGGING for Judgment Arrows since they were showed in the anime, that card allows some HUGE shenaningans with Knightmares and other links that has to be colinked and i wanted to try all of them

I honestly wanted more S/T in the anime itself that utilized Link arrows, I really thought that’s where Season 2 of Vrains was leading to. But…nah, just…j-just judgment arrows. ok. Oh well. At least you can get Judgment Arrows made on Etsy. I ordered one and it legit looks and even feels like a real card. I use it in Sunavalons with friends and it’s hilariously fun.

I think it's very weird how we never got Kathy's cat deck from Zexal in tcg. Like, don't get me wrong, they're bad cards by the modern day's standards and would be unplayable, but for how regularly she appears it's weird that we got almost nothing.

I dont know if anybody remembered these cards but the D/D/D and Odd eyes gates played at the end of Arc V are really cool and intresting in my opinion.
I'd love to see bastions magnet warriors get made. They had this cute gimmick of placing + and - counters to stop monsters with said counters attacking each other and they could easily take this further in the real game by having them negate effects or being unaffected etc.

Tbh this just shows how much of the anime has actually been printed into the card game officially. The fact it was mostly the same 5 things that popped up means there's really not a whole lot left for them to go to.
I do agree with the first half. but i don't think the reason why there's so few options for anime cards/archetypes left is because Konami has already printed so much. It's more like there's really nothing cool or at least able to have a huge fan base left. The dart monster, entertainment machine and the rest of the battleguards in arc v and multiple weird "archetypes" in the beginning of any yugioh series

I really would like to see Bastion’s Magnet Warriors get printed. It wouldn’t be too hard to convert their Plus and Minus Types into putting Counters on monsters which either force them to attack or negate their attacks. 🤔

I know we already have Mekk-Lords but I would kill for the Mekk-Lord part cards. The idea of having one big monster made up of a bunch of smaller monsters and being able to swap out pieces for different effects and stuff is so cool. So many people are like "You can never print them cause you could just link spam" and to that I say, have you read most of the cards that let you summon from the deck?

But the way their effects work and a few specific card interactions that would need special rules means Drones may be a while off yet

I love both performapals and performages but thanks to PePe getting plushfire banned the performage deck has really lost its ability to play on its own, but getting the unreleased cards would allow for a competent pure variant of deck which sounds amazing!
I am biased, but I want Trickstar Birdhelm. It slightly helps the Link variant of Trickstar because I prefer that one over the Lycoris Control that became popular in the TCG. Also I really want the Maiden in Love cards. Where are they Konami? We have the cupids. We have Pitch. It searches Maiden in Love. The cards are already in the video game. They'll suck and will probably never be used, but we could at least get them printed just have them

Hell, I've already seen someone that managed to create a combo line (with a few varieties for when you got negated) that ends with 2 Contrast HERO, Sunrise/Absolute Zero and DPE on turn 1. If you got better hands, you can even end with Plasma and Dark Angel (on opponent's field).
And all of this was done in the assumptions that all the main deck Masked HERO monsters are Normal monsters without effect. Now imagine if all of them have effects lmao.
@Kaison122 Not if we're following the current build for heroes. But I'm pretty sure that if MD masked hero are to be printed with good effects then someone could figure out some form of use for them. I mean we never know what MD masked hero could actually do all of them are vanilla in the manga but then again dark law is also a vanilla and Stratos was a lv5 which has amethyst cat effect.
@@stupidabc4331 yep, exactly. But even if the main deck Masked HERO has meh effect, their crucial thing is being mats for Contrast since unless you're using a deck that is some sort of gimmick Masked HERO focused one, no sane HERO player will want to fuse for Contrast as it is.
Drones would be so much fun. Honestly an archetype that procs effect after the opponent tries to negate one of your plays would be nice and an interesting way of smacking sense into players that are over reliant on negate spam.

Clear world itself WAS printed and HEAVILY nerfed as was "Clear Vice Dragon" but the Nightshroud-possessed Fujiwara also used a whole archetype of "Clear" Monsters. Attribute-less representation of his belief that everything would be better if no-one had an individual personality and were "Clear" by punishing them for controlling attributes.
However anime "Clear World" ~Might~ just be mystic mine at home...
There’s also the slime cards when Zane turns into dark Zane, the random math and science cards Bastion played, the other union cards Chazz had in season 3, the theater deck Orlando played, the rest of the satellite archetype Lord Ojan played, and the random Lv cards from 5Ds

We do have Cyber Emergency, so it's not impossible to adapt Drones into an archetype that replaces a negated effect with a much more powerful variant. Something like destroy 1 card on the field. If this effect is negated: banish a card on the field. Would love to see more negation protection cards because the ones we have are rare and usually limited to effect activations. Subterror Final Battle and Altergiest Protocol are the only effective examples we've ever had

Anime-adjacent support but it'd be kinda cool to have retrains of the Guardians that actually can be summoned like how they were summoned in the show. Just an equip card that can summon the specific monster from hand or deck.
Been drooling for Psychic Armor since it's debut in DM.
I'd really like for them to print the dark tuners. Their gimmick was very interesting, and even adapted into making the Ursartic monsters, would be nice if they ever tried to rework them into standing out because of that. They could even reprint their respective boss monters into somewhat better versions, like they did with the advanced crystal beasts when they printed them
Alice's creepy Doll parts cards, Damon's rock Attribute card's from Yugioh GX, Blair Flannigan's cards, Rebecca Hawkin's card's, Valon's Armors Cards, Allister's Cards, and also lastly Dartz missing Yugioh TCG cards!
They printed G-golem last year so think it'll be Stormriders turn this year if they're going to do it year by year. Out of the Vrains archetypes its probably one of the more "easier" ones to import there's no anime only gimmick. Tubieloof will be a money maker, but they may slap on some activation restrictions so it doesn't powercreep over dozen other handtrap cards.
After watching the Arc V anime years ago, I've always was intrigued with the odd eyes archetype and after watching the final duel, the odd eyes gates seemed pretty interesting and ever since then, I've wanted konami to release Odd-Eyes fusion gate, synchro gate and xyz gate
I agree with Alex I want my Power Armor, they could make a deck for each Archetype and have a little action figure to put little bits of the armor on them that would come with it. I figured it would rune you about (& this hurts a hole lot) $64.00 before taxes because of both the figure and the accessories with it.

MASKED HEROs from the manga, PLEASE, KONAMI! I know that's not the main subject from the video. But Dusk Crow, Inferno, Fountain and the other ones must come to life!!! A structure deck would be phenomenal! And give them awesome effects, as they should!!
Dark Synchro monsters could've been pretty interesting. Another monsters that I can think of are Diamond Head Dragon, Gator Dragon, Brain Dragon and Genghis Ghan The Emperor Dragon. And yes, I am a sucker for dragons.
the declaration of rebirth bit at the end makes sense when you realize it only released in 2021 and also theres a Rata video that asks for the card to be printed back in like 2018

Okay, question time.
You're in charge of the next Battles of Legend set. Up to 8 cards from each anime or manga that were never printed, and then a bunch of reprints or really late OCG imports in the back.
How do you fill it? Anything that DEFINITELY needs to be in?
For instance:
First 8 slots go to Armors. 6 monsters and 2 Spells, plus a Trap, makes the archetype a little big, but you could realistically shave off the Trap because it's just Armor Gravitation again.
Second 8 slots is a bit harder, at least for me, but I think I'd go with the Spice Deck because it fits the 8 slots perfectly- 3 Spices, 3 vanilla monsters, the stupid curry pot, and Curry Fiend Roo.
Third 8 slots should go to some of the Meklord Part cards, giving the Deck a bit more versatility- Wisel Top's 600 boost to an Emperor, plus a OPT negate of any monster effect weaker than the Emperor, might actually let the Deck do something going first besides hiding behind Wisel and praying.
Fourth 8 slots . . . I'm half tempted to say Nasch's other "seven emperors" cards, to go with the support he got back in Duelists of the Deep, but I don't think there's enough cards for that.
Fifth 8 slots I'd give to the Earthbound Servants. Hell yeah.
Sixth 8 slots I almost want to give to Armatos Legio and Judgment Arrows, but the archetype is way too damned big, as is my second choice in Drones. Idk.
Reprints in the back should just go to a bunch of big bosses whose prices are still out of control, and some things that haven't seen print in years. Maybe some Gishki cards to go with the new support, an actually accessible Accesscode, the chase cards from the most recent 3-ish Deck Build Packs, CXyz Barian Hope to go with the "seven emperors" stuff, Super Poly targets like Garura and Mudragon, maybe some Ready Fusion targets.
The one archetype that I saw and wanted so bad, was from the character in Arc-V who was being all, controlled by the synchro dimension villain. Thorn Prisoners. Something about these monsters who are based on medival torture methods where their gimmick is they do damage to the users to gain other effects sounds just kinda cool. Somewhat of a self burn with benefits

Edit: okay, this seems simpler than I intended, but also, YuGiOh seems unwilling to print new ability types. We haven't gotten a new one since Tuners, so I'm doubtful we'll get the Armor ability. Not to mention the Armor ability is rather wordy and limits card design because of that. Also, due to how they spam out 5 monsters at once, it's a lot to keep track of. Think of Meklords and how they were just turned into 1 card. I feel like that's what would happen to Armor monsters, and it would suck.

I would like to see Darkness (the final villain of the undubbed part of GX) gets printed we only have his final boss monster Darkness Neospher with none of his trap or spell cards
While this wasn't an archetype, nor a series of cards that were locked from the anime, I would like to take this opportunity to share my plea for Five-Headed Dragon support. This card was featured in one of the filler seasons of DM, so this does qualify as "anime support". I have memories of this chimera as a child and even in the video game years. I don't need the support to be good, but I would like to summon it easier as well as give it effects based on the attributes it used. If I can't get either of these, then I would like a nod to it by giving it a fusion spell that gives it protection, and a Dragon's Mirror-like effect to fusion summon it. The funny thing about super fusion god is at the time the only way to summon him was with chain material but now with the emz you can have a field of all levels from 1-12 to super poly him
You could also potientally use Tears to fuse them if you get monsters 1-12 in the graveyard.
