When you are traveling, your phone is constantly searching for wi-fi and location. The only problem with turning off location is that some apps need the location turned on to work properly

Now that is interesting that your phone doesn't have the wi-fi calling button int the quick settings as mine does. Also, I don't have a mobile data button that you have. My provider is Cricket Wireless
