I just got this phone and am liking it so far. I discovered that the app tab on the right side can be moved anywhere you want on the side! Just press and hold, and move it up or down. Tons of "hidden" features on this phone. Fun to play with--thanks!

The screen going off on my new A32 whilst viewing something is a pain in the derrier, so thank you for the trick to avoid this.
Love the specs of this phone. The display and the dimensity 720 chipset look great.
These are some good tips. I really like the double tap feature. This is why I love Samsung phones. I had one before and switched to a Motorola and have this phone now and I had forgotten how much better Samsung is for customization and ease of use. I think I'm on team Samsung from now on.

Some of these are features are the same or at least similar what I can find on my A52s. I tried the gesture navigation for a while but there were a few reasons why I went back to button style navigation. With buttons I have less to remember. I don't need to remember what was a gesture for this or that action. In games, if I need to use back action multiple times, I found it easier to do it with a button than with gestures. When using the phone in both portrait and landscape modes I had trouble to remember if gestures would follow the rest of the orientation and appear at the bottom of the landscape mode (regardless of which way you'd hold the phone) or if it would stay on one of the sides (i.e. the bottom of the portrait mode). I'll admit it is a cool idea and generally speaking I'm not against using more gestures but for this feature I just couldn't get used to it and I didn't see reason to keep trying harder because I was already comfortable with the button style navigation.
I actually only recently bought my A52s and I came from Galaxy A3 (2017) model with Android 8, and many of these new features in the phone and Android 11 have been really cool.

Great information and very helpful. I sent this to my mother who recently purchased this phone. She is not very tech savvy. In other videos, the dialogue fast and motions are too fast for people to follow, but your steps were clear, concise, easy to follow, with both audio and visuals!
you can always slow the speed of the videos, just click a little settingss cog and choose "playback speed". I use it often.

I love the double-tap gesture to turn the phone on and off... unfortunately, with the NOVA app, you need to get the prime or paid version to get it. I love the NOVA app, but having to use the power button every single time is a deal-breaker.

I'm considering buying this phone and purely use it as a 5G WiFi hotspot in my summerhouse. Dedicated 5G Wifi hotspots still costs a fortune, so I figured this would be a good to take advantage of my 5G subscription without having to spend a fortune. Is there any downsides to this plan? Will it work, or will the phone run to hot?

What does it mean when everytime I'm on the phone talking, the voices are so sharp.. It hurts my ears. Is that what 5g is? I do notice on the screen something that says " HD + 5g " if that's the case what is it and how can I tone it down
I was looking up the specs and the 4g is a better phone with better pixel resolution and better camera. The 5g variant does not support always on display. The 4g variant supports it due to the 1080 resolution. The 5g a32 is actually more budget than the 4g variant.
The 5g pixel density is only 720×1600, whereas the 4g supports always on display with a pixel density of 1080 ×2400. These two phones are completely different models with the same name 😂 that's silly.
If you're looking to by this phone pick the 4g version.
Most people are upgrading to 5g internet I really wouldn't recommend downgrading to a 4g phone when you can have a 5g connection
I got mine for free with trade-in of my 7 year old phone. I don't have the palm gesture to take a screenshot.

Go to Sounds and Vibrations in your settings and turn off vibrations.

To be honest my phone this phone worked like a charm for me until that stupid new software update, my phone now has a hard time with network connection and I can barely watch RUclips without it freezing for a second then getting stuck on that damn spinning circle

Have a T-Mobile Galaxy A#@ 5G. One week. I don't have some of the features you are showing. No app tab, settings less comprehensive than yours. I'm dumping sprint T-Mobile after 21 years.
I'm being forced to use this phone by sprint changing to 5g...my 7edge will no longer work...so is this a good phone?? And what's the largest memory sd card it will support??
hope it’s not too late, this phone is great, the largest SD card available with purchase of the phone is 128 gigs, you can add an external and the biggest external you can get is i believe 512 gigs

I have an iPhone XS Max and just picked this up today. Really impressed with this phone so far.
Thank you for this video. I recently had to replace my A20 for an A32. The feature I like with the A20 was double the screen to wake. When I got the A32 I had to use the side button to wake the phone, which for me was quite annoying and I kept asking myself there must be a setting somewhere I could get the same function by merely double tapping the screen to wake the phone. Again, thank you for this video and showing the setting for this function.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate this video. I was about to take this phone back. I was recently "upgraded" by Sprint from the A50 to the A32 5G. My biggest complaint now is that I don't have the Always on Display. I really got used to that with the A50 and it's kind of driving me crazy I don't have it with the A32. At least I got the double tap awake feature going.
I literally just went through the same thing. I got the a50 around a year ago, and was happy with it. Then, a couple months later, I got a letter saying I have to upgrade before January. I was very aggravated seeing as I like the a50 a lot. I went today and got the "upgrade" so I chose the a32's for my family seeing as it was an a series too, free, and at least the same size, even a bit bigger. I still don't think it's an upgrade other than being 5 g. Seems like the screen isn't as vibrant, and it's thicker, and heavier. Maybe it'll grow on me, but I think since they forced us to do it, they should have gave us the a51 as an option.
@@isaiahjohnston5358 I completely agree. The A51 should have been the upgrade. The resolution isn't as good on the A32 but the processor is faster. I've gotten used to the size and the weight. Now that it's TMobile I'm out after my contract is up though.
You can turn that on in developer mode.
If you unlock developers settings you can trust me search up a RUclips video, to sign in to it you use your phone password

Immediatly installed EVIE as launcher so i could get double tap lock back.
With EVIE Launcher you can add more gestures to open apps, its very nice launcher
Have you heard from other a32 owners about speaker issues? I am on my second phone (second phone is a warranty replacement)and I still have a speaker issue where the person I call hears echoes, and a few people hear terrifying noises. I am so disappointed and frustrated with this phone.

Hello, maybe I can help. I am also using Samsung A32 but I think its 4g, and I think also it has the same features to 5g. There is another way to capture screenshot without pressing the volume key and powerbutton.
Go to settings, click advance features, then motions and gestures and turn on the "Palm swipe to capture".

Yes, the 4g has an older display, unlike the 5g. But I have heard that the performance on the 5g is 1.5x better than the 4g.

Sorry I have a tendency to ramble on (sort of like Led Zeppelin) so this is longer than it needs to be.
So all you have to do is drag your finger from the right edge of the screen to the left.
🤔 I must be doing it wrong (yes it's easy to do but to quote Charles LeClerc "I am stupid") because I've tried it about 50 times and it's worked once which is quite frustrating.
I've accidentally opened it many times in the past but when I want to open it 🤯
Edit: The guy in the video said there's a tab on the right side which I did see earlier but now it's gone.
Edit 2: Don't know what I did, restarted the phone, but it's working now.
I got this phone through boost mobile for $129 yesterday. Just as fast as my galaxy s8 which i can no longer use bc it dosen't support 5g.

Thanks for these tips, been many years since I used a Samsung phone, way back in the Android 6.0 Marshmallow days. Got offered this phone for only $24.99, couldn't say no...should be one hell of a battery life improvement from my small capacity ailing iphone se 2020. Cameras upon more reading and research seem good enough to me for what I need and do. Basically what I can say for the phone as a whole, seems to be pretty good especially for rock bottom price for most people
I currently have the moto pure and it has the feature for the screen to stay on while looking at it however I don't like the phone at all for other reasons and have bought the Samsung a32 5g.. waiting for it to come in the mail!!!
Went from S7 to S10 to a Nord 200 5g & now waiting on my A32 5g.....lol...I don't want to regret it. 🤣

I just got this phone and no matter what suggestion I follow I cannot make the google assistant work when the screen is off. I just got rid of a Note 8 and it worked on that just fine with the screen off. Has anybody found a solution to this problem?
