I bought one of these about 6 weeks ago and I love it. The Honda Accord Hybrid EX-L is a sweet vehicle.

Why did you go with this trim over a sport or touring? Looking into one but can’t decide which trim to go with

@@grandmastagrimm8773 The exl comes with 17" wheels. The 17's are better riding and give you better mpg. Also, the 17" tires are way less expensive than the 19's. Anyware between $50 and $80 less per tire!!

Getting 45-50 mpg, love this car!
Congratulations on your new Honda
I would highly recommend to always take the door edge guards package - really saves you from those accidental hits on walls and such when you open the door. Body side molding are also great for other people that might hit your doors in parking lots.

Just picked up a new 2024 Hybrid EX-L coming from the 2021. Really miss the picture screen that appears to be missing on this car. Also, HondaLink to open the garage door is missing too, but can add it for $281 that also includes auto dimming. Seems like I'm taking a step back from the 2021 EX-L. This hybrid is still a nice car. Do not miss the 2 big knobs on the screen. ha

really good review and informational, The camera is too zoomed in. Consider using a wide angle lens for interior shots.

The Accord EX-L is the trim level I bought last year and haven't regretted my choice for a second. The Bose sound system for the Touring would have been nice, but this trim has everything else i could want on an Accord. If you ferry kids around, this trim has rear seat charging ports and vents which the Sport and Sport-L versions do not have. Best gas mileage of the Accord trims was the winning decision maker for me.

I got the Urban Gray. It’s a bit out of my comfort zone but decided I need to expand from blue or black on car colors.

Why did you choose the EX-L over a touring or sport? Was trying to decide on either the sport or EX-L
I liked the better mpg of the EX-L and less road noise than the 19’s. EX-L also had rear vents and USBs. Didn’t care about the styling as much. Overall I’ve never regretted my choice.
Very nice presentation. One question: Is it possible to add Google-maps/Navigation to the EX-L trim? I'd definitely prefer the EX-L if it can be equipped with maps/nav system. One more thing: the 17" wheels on EX-L are much more practical, lighter, less noise, less prone to bends/tire damage than the 19"s that the Touring comes with.17" wheels and tires => may lead to better accel./fuel econ, less road noise, much more comfortable/less bumpy ride, etc...
You will have wireless apple car play and android auto which allows you to use your GPS from your phone onto the 12.3 in touchscreen on the vehicle. I'm glad to hear here that you enjoyed my presentation.
@@CrazyAutoChris ah okay, yes that is always there, but I was wondering if the "maps app" that is built-in in the Touring trim can be also installed/downloaded to the computer of the infotainment sys on the EX-L. Ex-L is the sweet spot in my opinion. 17" tires, heated seats, full parking sensors, leather, and around/under $35K.
No XM radio , is there anyway it can be added. Using your phone is not the same.

I bought the 2024 EXL hybrid last December. There are so many things to like about the car but there are a few things that I can't get passed. The cabin noise at highway speeds is terrible and no height adjustment on the front passenger seat, the seat is way too low. Also, the threshold is too high making it a pain to exit the car. I probably get rid of it. Those issue's make the entire car suck .
unfortunately sounds like it wasn't a perfect fit for you. Sorry to hear that and hope that you find something soon.

Add a seat cushion for height. Sorry it wasn’t the car that fits.
I’m planning on getting a Touring trim which has double paned glass. Is double paned glass exclusive to the Touring level?
Buy a comfilife seat cushion for that low seat. Thats mostly why Im not sure about this car.
It no longer has garage door openers?
I thought that was wild as well
Question do you have to charge the hybrids ?
Its just a gas and go. No need to plug in to charge

I was expecting wireless charging and i got disappointed after.
The 15-watt wireless phone charger is only standard on the Touring trim level

No home link or garage door opener available in the new Accords.
I’ll pass on this. Toyota Camry 2025 best for value with Hybrid 😅
