Every uncle Iroh moment is a best iroh moment
Yup that is true
Merry Christmas by the way 😉
So true!
@@nicbentulan huh!?

Iroh is a war criminal
That scene where Iroh pays respect to his son still hits so hard till this day.
I can't make it through without at least tearing up
Yes it makes me feel so sad that i refuse to watch the scene again
I’m a 30 year old dude and I have to skip that scene and I still cry about it lol. Had to wipe my eyes to write this comment
"Pride is not the opposite of shame, but its source. True humility is the only antidote to shame". Might be the best quote of the whole show.
Doesn't matter how strong you are, the moment he starts singing, everyone breaks down in tears
Uncle Iroh is The Dragon 🐉 of the West because he’s a wise mentor after he lost his son 😢. He helped his nephew Zuko and Zuko has the best redemption arc ever. R.I.P. Mako Imawastu😢😢
For supponsing killing the last dragons he received the title of The Dragon of the West
1:55 those little details of iroh throwing the tea out the window
I watch many times when Zuko apologizes to Uncle Iroh and my tears always the same :(
Not many people mention how stoic Iroh really is. The fact that he can sing that song with such joy for that little boy, despite what it means to him. He understands when to show his emotions, he's not afraid to cry, but still only does so when it's the right time. It's not that men shouldn't cry, it's that they should know when to cry and when not to. He embodies what it truly means to be a man
He is literally the opposite of a stoic
"only a select few can achieve this" Legend of Korra forgot how rare these special bending abilities were
It always bugged me, too. If anything, Lavabenders should be the ones powering the modernized Avatar world. They can literally instantly make a geothermal heat source for steam turbines. Have 'em stop by once in a while to boost the lava when it starts to cool too much, and just one Lavabender can probably maintain enough of the stuff to run dozens of turbines, in any given daily 8 hour shift. No fuel used, and minimal chi.
not a big fan of LoK, but I'd like to think special bending abilities became a little more common because there are actually people teaching it.
@@palwatcher6903 I generally agree. But in the case of lightning-bending, it should still be a bit more rare. Most specialized bending styles are just tricky to pull off in some way or other.
Lightning-bending has a specific problem associated with it, and if you're really emotionally unstable, the consequences can be fatal. Now, that can be dealt with in the ways of just making sure people don't have a lot of needless stress in their lives, and have healthy options for coping with things that go wrong. But the fact is, that's not how their world went, and they also still don't have anything equal to the "science" of psychology or actual neuroscience.
So, while most others could be more common, I really can't see lightning-bending becoming common enough to run a power plant. And I still don't think it's the most efficient way to do so in any case.
Man, why you gotta start with arguably the most meaningful scene ❤
I love how he was genuinely confused when the guy tried to mug him.😭
23:03 the anger is Iroh’s voice was amazing
Fire, lord Zuko and uncle Iroh definitely family. They both have the same sense of humor.
I honestly can't think of a bad iroh moment. He's one of if not the best character in avatar.
Iroh spitting facts for 30 minutes straight
Uncle Iroh was the 🐐.
Just see the size of the lightning generated by Iroh while instructing Zuko on creating it. Iroh and Zuko look so tiny, yet the lightning is much bigger than what Ozai produced during the Sozin's Comet. Rewatch it, and you'll surely notice what I'm referring to.
I don't disagree with what you're saying but counterpoint: the sun was still partially eclipsed by the moon when Ozai conducted lightning so the firebending may have still been inoculated to an extent
@@Hiphop618what saeed is talking about sozins comet not the eclipse

Q1
Why is 'Leaves from the vine' sadder than Aang's discovery of the air nomads' fate, according to a 2022Jun poll? (In-universe reasons only.) They don't even use the g word to describe what happened to the air nomads. Cowards.
Q2
'Leaves from the vines' is about a war criminal crying over another war criminal. How's it sad BEFORE Iroh fully defects?
But even after Iroh defects, I don't see how it's sadder than Aang's reaction to air nomads. Or maybe the writing was bad because it's a kids' show which doesn't really dwell much on the g word. Idk.
Notes:
1
Change 'war criminal' to 'unjust war aggressor' if need be.
2
Imagine you had relatives who met fates similar to the air nomads', but people were crying over leaves from the vine.

3:52.. zuko combustion bends 🤯
When you was young you want to be the Avatar... When you are older you try to be uncle Iroh ... Am on tear really wishing one day am be him 😢😢😢😢
In my opinion iroh is not just a fire bending master, he's a fire bending grand master. A balance of protecting society and embodiment of peace and wisdom. And like white lotus master Gyatso iroh was also humorous.😊
The best character of the show. Rest in peace Mako Imawatsu. 🕊️🙏🏼❤️
Uncle Iroh is the best sensei ever next to Avatar Roku

20:19 Excellent form, Prince Zuko!!
Iroh is always be my favorite character from avatar
This is the true definition of what a ‘character arc’ is
Uncle Iroh is so wise.
Iroh is old and wise.
Iroh is the best sensei anyone can ask for.
Didn’t expect to cry in the first minute. Geeze
Uncle Iroh, a great man, a great father, a great uncle to Zuko, a very wise man
Uncle Iroh my fav character with inspiring stuff all the time
Iroh may be old but he's got some skills!
Iroh the 🐐

I love uncle iroh! I wish I had him as a mentor.
I'm not sure if I agree with the order for the top 10, but those are all the clips I would have picked for the top 10. Maybe the " Yes, we are outnumbered, but you are out classed." The scene was up there.
The first scene will always be the best. The original actor who voiced Iroh passed away after the 2nd season so it must have felt like Zuko was talking to Iroh at his grave.
I challenge any first time watchers of the series to not cry when Iroh sits on top of that hill and sings leaves from the vine (impossible)
*_Impossible..._*
It's not normal to not cry... over one of the *MOST* human and emotional scenes... I've ever seen....
in fiction.
Uncle Iroh is humorous I love it when the thieve tried to Rob him and he said with that stance 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
imagine an avatar iroh
that would be lit
Gotta love Iroh❤
7:01 😂😂
Iroh has literrally no ennemies
That Uncle Phil moment at the start choked me up.
I think he should be called uncle HERO.
I love the show
13:06
Iroh is the best character in the show.
Is he the best fictional character ever created ??
Eu quase choro sempre quando ele abraça o zuko
12:56 this is so true.
Iron is like a second dad to me.

To everyone reading this... It’s never too late to be whoever you want to be. I hope you live a life you're proud of, and if you find that you're not, I pray you’ll find the courage to start over. Stay blessed guys!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you...
That means a lot to someone, I'm sure...
But it's just nice to hear generally nice and **caring** stuff, from someone
as nice as you.
😁😁😁
💗💗💗 👌
Imagine if iroh had never lost his son and still would be a fire lord.
World would have been prosperous
If Iroh didn’t lose Liu Ten then he wouldn’t have gone on his character arc and the earth kingdom would have been the fire nation
Si! Gracias por el audio en Español. Por cierto, está un poco desfasado el audio Saludos!

I noticed something, Zuko did the motion wrong

Whos the flying fire dude? He moves like a waterbender even though he firebends.. i havent watched this show in a long time..
At 9:32? That's Jeong Jeong.
Master Jeong Jeong, first appeared in book 1 episode 'The deserter'
You might be thinking of Iroh son of Izumi. Iroh is in TLOK not ATLA. Hahaha
