Jawan is a heck of an entertainer! perfect for the genre + actually has a deep plot... the opening scene was so hyped! got everyone pumped. 160mins of adrenaline and unabashed entertainment with a great background score; like 90s hollywood actioners used to be.
I do not like when people compare him with someone like InDiAn ToM cRuZe... He is much more than that..He has his own aura, charisma. He has King Attitude which perfectly suits on him...He is King Khan...King of Bollywood..He IS SHAH RUKH KHAN 👑 ❤

I don't remember a time when I didn't know who SRK was. Always loved the dude be it in movies, songs, interviews, tv commercials anything. Only now we're seeing him as this badass superhero, we're actually used to seeing him quite vulnerable on screen. He's not Tom Cruise, he's like Santa to me just instantly brings a smile on my face.

Although SRK is known for being the King of romance, he always shown big range,among his generation ( his 30 years of career) he is actually one of the most versatile actor,From the beginning of his career (as struggling actor) he had done negative characters, which most actors won’t do, because they won’t cast as the hero if they acted as villain but SRK did.Indian cinema is actually different, they recently started full fledge action / rom- com/ horror. As a 90's kid non indian, we grow up watching mix genre movies( action+ rom com+ drama+ suspence all together)

I really enjoyed your review. I thought the movie was entertaining but the screenplay was bit messy. I'm glad more American are exploring indian cinema. I live in California and I was surprised they had the movie in IMAX in my theater. It was visually stunning especially the opening scene.

As a (non-resident) India, my primary recommendation is Gangs of Wasseypur Part I and II. They were praised by Martin Scorsese himself. Aside from that, Udaan and Satya are also some of my favourite bollywood movies.

You should probably watch Bahubali 1 and 2. Directed by RRR director. Many Indian people rates Bahubali duology as better film than RRR
