In Asia we love Sri Lanka and the Philippines the most, and definitely Cuba in the Caribbean. We will travel to Malta in the summer like almost every year, and then to the Red Sea at Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt in November.
Being Europeans for us Malta, that unique gem is the favorite summer holiday spot in the Mediterranean sea with its beautiful islands, old towns and villages, churches and cathedrals, intriguing medieval history and mythical atmosphere. We also love some pearls of the Atlantic ocean, the picturesque islands of Madeira, and the Azores, and also Cape Verde, as an alternative option to the Canary Islands.
Great choices. From this list my favorite is Morocco where we went for the 3rd time a few weeks ago. It is the country of as French call it "Maghreb", with its classic Oriental ambience in the magical old towns of Casablanca, Marrakesh and Tanger, where I always feel like the heroine of a beautiful 19th century romantic novel. This time we also tested our skills at some special driving experience in the Atlas Mountains. Epic. Preparing for our dream vintage car rally adventure.
Kemoy! Was hoping to see some non-typical gems. #Mauritius , #LaReunion , #Seychelles need the spotlight. Going with #KohPhangan , #KohKood and #KohKradan over Samui.
@kemoy_martin neither have I. I've been to a few of the places you listed though (Dubai, Bali, coast of Kenya - basically Zanzibar-ish). The gems are what the real traveller's are looking for, not the Instagram spam.
I'm definitely visiting these places by God's grace 🙏.
Great content man❤
