Got on 07' Dodge, 5.7L (Hemi) and having same issue. Gonna have to try it. Hopefully it works 💪...Will follow up with the results unless the truck blows up..😏
Alls were gunna be using is this CRAP right here! LOL! awesome Dee. I would think why run "1" wire alone- run 3!!!! Cap off drivers wires and run 3 from passengers side to drivers side. You will get high and low beam. just my 2 cent.
Did this before I seen your video, worked great the only problem was when using the turn signal it is supposed to shut the headlight off but only did it when turning one direction but oh well, anyway few months down the road, the lights were working intermittently now have stopped completely, no light for low or high beams but running lights work when lights are turned on, completely stumped

I found the power in the harness turned lights off then power and then decided to double check which terminal was hot in the harness and BAMM!!! NO POWER. And now both my high beam or low beam don't work. Need help ASAP as inspection is 2 days away
My 06 Ram 1500 has the same thing where my driver light is on with low beams and my passenger is on with the high beams. It’s got 361k miles so the tipm is basically junk and half of my stuff doesn’t work lol.
My problem is the wires are different colors. My passenger side high beam and low works my drivers side just low beam. Can't figure it out. My rear running drivers side wasn't turning on so I ran 3 wires from the passenger to the drivers side that worked. But still can't figure out the high beam
My 06 5.7 Hemi has just the left driver side low beam issue. Tried this and it didn’t work. But I’m a little confused cause I checked the power on both sides and they get power. So why else would my low beam on left side not be working with a brand new bulb and power but no low beam light?
No from what I found relays for headlights are built in to the fuse box / tipm On 2006 and up once the other one fails will have to make separate switch and relays for lights or find someone to rebuild the tipm $$$
Lol 😆 around town yes beer no. it’s my spare truck barley got driven at night but your right it’s a temporary fix that will need to be wired directly to the battery at some point

No shop will do the TIPM anyways, guess they don’t want my money. Spent $15 and got it fixed, thanks brother

You can use low beam and high beam if you connect with other switche

Did you ever figure out how to get the high beams to work? Both my headlights work but my passengers side hi beam does not.
the wire where the bulb goes isn't making connection on mine if i push one in the bulb turns on how frustrating
My 06 5.7 Hemi has just the left driver side low beam issue. Tried this and it didn’t work. But I’m a little confused cause I checked the power on both sides and they get power. So why else would my low beam on left side not be working with a brand new bulb and power but no low beam light?
your tipm might be dirty and just needs cleaned.

What if neither headlight is working? Is there still a jumper option
Late to the post, but did you check your ground wires? Otherwise as the vid shows it’s the the TIPM
I would have just stripped the wires and used duck tape, those blue taps are suspect
Whatever you do, don't do this people because one circuit can't handle both headlights and in 2 weeks Both will burn out again
Mine is still working fine so… something you did or have was different probably

Exact same problem. I initially did this but now both are out.. new tipm still nothing

Check the grounds,
if you see a candy apple red 2006 dodge ram at the dealership walk on by, headlights are rigged up on it!!
