I would like to nominate my brother. This was to be his first Father’s Day but his twin boys were delivered stillborn in December. He’s recently gotten into cooking & is a HUGE fan of your channel! Our mom bought him a nice cutting board with his name on it as a Father’s Day gift and this grill coming from YOU would be the most awesome gift ever. Thank you 💙.

Hello Sam and Max: I would actually like to nominate my daughter's stepfather, Nick. Not only is he totally above and beyond, like, buying her a Power Wheels Jeep, just because, and then tweaking it so it goes faster, just to make her smile. They have a ridiculous, perfect relationship. My daughter also has a half-sister, who loves him to death as well. To recap, that's two daughters from two separate families, with all the drama that comes with a situation like that, and he works always on making the family functional and happy. Not only that, but he has helped and supported me, even provided me a home for the last two years, in the name of having a close knit, cooperative family. I as a father, have my problems, but I would be nowhere near as close to getting on my feet right now if not for him. He redefines what family should be, and I would be remiss if i didn't try to give him a shot. He deserves every shot that a real biological father would have.

I'd like to nominate my dad. He's had terminal bone cancer for twelve years now taking experimental treatments for a study at MUSC to hold out and stay with us. The doctors thought he had two years left at most with that being an optimistic estimate at the time. He absolutely loves cooking outside and cast iron pans are pretty much all he cooks on when using a stove, so I know he'd love having an evo out there.
He's always been there for everyone to help out even when sick, so I can't think of anyone I personally know who deserves it more. $53 for two crab legs. That's insane. I remember back when Red Lobster use to have all you can eat king crab legs for $10.99. They had two locations on Beach Blvd. One in Huntington Beach and one in Buena Park. The good old days. I would eat about 20 of them. Today I would have to spend about $500 to get that. Crazy.

Hi Sam! I'd like to nominate my dad. He originally had a hard life in Vietnam and experienced many struggles. Eventually, after a few failed attempts, he made a long difficult journey to the U.S. He worked very hard to learn English, get a degree, and obtain a sustainable job. Now, because of his sacrifices, I am able to live a happy life with many more opportunities right here in San Diego! My father isn't as interested in cooking as I am, but I'd be very grateful if I could show him the beauty of the art of cooking with this amazing flat top. It would be an extraordinary gift that would certainly be fun for cooking burgers together for family bonding and inspiring a new love for cooking for our whole family. My dad is a simple guy, but he does love burgers, so I want to inspire him to love cooking by gifting him an Evo. Thank you Sam for showing me how great cooking can be. You've inspired me to tackle my new love of cooking and now I want to spread this love to others, like my dad.

Hey Sam and Max. Always loving the videos. My family and I love to try your recipes. Everything we have tried has been delicious. I would like to nominate my dad, Carl. He is a tremendous cook that loves to cook outside on the patio. He’s the greatest father who has given so much of his life supporting our family. I’d love to give something back to him. Thanks for all the great content and I can’t wait for more recipes to try.

Please consider my husband, Eric Colvin. He is a desert storm vet, hard worker, super smart and wonderful father to his two daughters and my son. He goes out of his way to treat all the kiddos with the same love and patience. I had surgery three weeks ago and am not mobile. He has stepped up by cooking, taking care of me, giving my son driving lessons, and taking him for his permit. Eric embodies what a dad is and should be. He would definitely put an EVO flat top grill to good use cooking for all of us. Thank you for considering him.

Sam, I would like to nominate my husband Dave. Not only is he a wonderful husband and my best friend, but he is constantly stressed since he works in a nursing home. This whole corona thing definitely gets him stressed. But recently, he has really been enjoying cooking for our little family of four. He has even got our 13 year old son into watching your show and helping out in the kitchen. We have never had a lot of money to treat him to a nice father's day gift, but I know surprising him with this would definitely blow his mind. Thank you for keeping us entertained!

I nominate my husband because he is such a great dad to our boys ages, 15&16. He always strives to give them MORE than what he had as a child. He works hard to be able to send the boys to catholic school. He has never missed a FIRST with the boys. Now we are helping raise our niece and he is so good with her. To her he's UNCLE DAD! To say I am proud of him is an understatement...he didn't have siblings, and when I met him he always said he didn't like kids. Fast-Forward, he rolls around with the kids. He coaches them, challenges them to street basketball and invests in nice vacations and gifts they will have for life. Cheers and Happy Father's Day to all the dads! Sheila J.

Sam i have literally never been hungrier. Really wish we could get King crab easier here in the UK. i Would also love to nominate my dad this fathers day. hes provided for the family for our whole lives and has managed to single handedly grow all of our vegetables for the past 5 years in his allotment vegetable patch. He would adore an Evo grill to step up his cooking game. All the best and love from the UK. stay safe everyone!

    Dear Sam and Max,
I’m nominating my stepfather Neil. This guy has and continues to be someone who leaves the world a better place than he finds it. A man who takes pride in his work and keeps to his word. Despite having health issues he still finds the time to help others when he is able. He's the guy who strikes up a conversation while in line at the hardware store (which seemed awkward as a kid) This isn't just another fathers day but his first grandfathers day of my new son. He loves his stake Chicago style when he can, "find a place that knows how to do it." Loving your videos, keep up the great work! Cheers!

I would like to nominate my husband. We have been together 18 years and as far back as I can remember he has always had a passion for grilling. I can remember back when all we had was a tiny little grill that sat a foot off the floor and you could only fit a few pieces of meat on it and he would sit on a crate and grill for hours to feed our entire family. His greatest joy is to see his family happy and for our kids to tell him how delicious his food is. This is a man who watches countless videos before he grills to make sure that his food is perfect. We are big time foodies and always looking for something new to grill each week (smash burgers were amazing!). My husband is such a giving and selfless person and never asks for anything as long as his family has what they need this would be a great way to thank him for all he does for us. He's such a huge Sam the cooking guy fan and this would make his father's day so special. This year we will also finally be buying our first home and this would be an amazing addition. So please consider my husband, our grill master for this awesome gift.

My husband is the most sincerely best human ever. A longtime friend of his has said that if James were on fire, he would hand the bucket of water off to someone else. His kindness has subjected him to being treated poorly by many. James will not speak a bad word about anyone. He is a servant of people. Wherever he sees a need, he does what he’s able to fill that need. He loves his family, friends, and even pets, fiercely. Despite serious health conditions, James works full time. He spends his time away from work caring for everyone he loves to the fullest. No one that knows James dislikes him. He brings joy to all. I would very much appreciate your awarding my husband the Evo grill. There is simply nothing I could purchase for him to express just how much he is appreciated and loved. Like thousands of others, these last 6 months have been a real challenge for us. James has stood strong in his unwavering love and devotion to us. No matter the challenge, I’ve been able to know at every moment of every day that I have a husband, and our children a father, that will not let us feel anything but completely protected and supported amid the ebbs and flows of 2020. He wouldn’t dare tell you that he’s a veteran. He says his service isn’t anything to talk about because he ‘didn’t see combat.’ He believes he’s not worthy of any distinction that might set him apart from anyone else. If he’s chosen to receive the Evo, he will surely insist that he not be publicly recognized. Thank you for the opportunity to tell you about the truly best man I know.

This is would an absolutely perfect addition to his outdoor kitchen. It would get a ton of use and enjoyed by the whole family and neighborhood.

My Dad is a great human being. He works in health care and he is compassionate and kind. I could say so many wonderful things about my dad just like all the other great dads that I read about in the comments. There are lots of amazing dad’s in the world and many probably deserve the Evo, but I will get to the point. My Dad should win because he has learned to make great food by watching your show. He has made your Ziti, a bunch of different sauces, and burgers and he is rocking it. If he had the Evo he would put it to great use. He watches your show every night. He is deserving because he is your biggest super fan. He loves to cook your recipes and he gets so excited to share his new cooking skills with us. He is learning to be a better cook and he loves it. Thank you for your consideration and thank you for your show because it makes my dad happy! And it makes me happy because I get to eat the wonderful food you taught him to make. Thanks for teaching my dad to be a better cook.

I would like to nominate my husband. He has worked so hard to keep this family a float. He works for the school district here in Las Vegas. Works two jobs as health insurance kills his his paycheck but wants to make sure we have good insurance as I needed a major surgery and we needed better doctors and hmo wasn’t cutting it. Plus the education here is basically last in the country and we send our daughter to a private school and is wants me to be home to make sure she is taken care of as the schedule is a bit crazy and is able to do all extra stuff after school, he puts so much for our family first and works so hard. He does so much around the house on the weekends without complaints even though during the weekend he leaves at 6:30am and doesn’t get home until 10pm. He loves your show. Loves to try all your recipes has your books and your knife lol and I want to give him something truly special. He has the heart of gold and Beyond lucky to call this man my husband.

I would like to nominate my husband, Greg, for the Fathers Day give away. We have recently found you and love watching the videos! We made the baked ziti last week and it might just be the best thing I’ve ever cooked! During this shelter in place we have been doing some extra cooking and home projects including making another chicken coop and in the process of building on our outdoor furniture ruined a few pieces - so we have room for another element to our backyard! We look forward to continuing to watch and cooking!

I would like to nominate my husband. He has done an amazing job as the father to our 2 year old from day one. She was born a month early and spent two weeks in the NICU and the whole time he traveled over 100 miles a day to go to work, take care of our animals, and see us at the hospital where he slept on a small couch and woke up every couple hours for night feedings. He never once said he was tired just took care of business. He loves your show and cooking and has already started teaching our child to cook letting her help with stirring, mixing, and pounding flat chicken.

Ever since I was a little kid he would throw down on the bbq for the neighborhood always making sure the poor kids and families had good meals. He has always believed that enjoying a meal together can create those small but amazing moments in life that help us connect and grow. These days he still cooks every monday and friday and anyone and every one is invited and he always spends a lot and never asked for anything in return. Thinking about this brings tear to my eyes lol.
