The weather can be a deterrent to some anglers. I found in 2023 during the blizzard conditions on one day the steelhead and browns were feeding. Throwing a egg carrying leach above the Altmar bridge was phenominal. I had the the entire water from just above the bridge to the first sharp turn upstream. Cold yes yet fishable if your prepared. I have a pretty well matched up older Orvis Battenkill 7/8 reel to go with it. What do you think? Love all your info. bud. Keep ‘em comin’ and your get more subscribers!
