That's a WOWEEE for Mike! What a beautiful monster steelhead. Congratulations! The memories of the wind and cold will fade but the memory of that fish will be something he will tell his grand kids one day. Thanks for sharing the excitement and success. Don
Mike no doubt you are happy with a surprise like dat! And your dad can be happy his Son was the 1 who fished it! Mike certainly learned good fishing technique from his pop. Congradulations to bot of yuz...🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣
New drinking game. Every time Mike says Monster or Massive, giant.. Take a drink. I'm already messed up!!! Game over. I haven't heard such words since I hooked up with a midget at the port o potties at burts dam. JK ... Nice steelhead!! Quality video as always guys.
Congratulations to Mike and his personal best as always it's another great video take care stay safe stay away from the Chinese cooties I always enjoy your videos they're the best
Awesome steelhead! Congrats Mike! That's cool you had Burt Dam to yourself for a while, with all the hate that's been thrown at us RUclipsrs lately you wouldn't think it would be possible to have any steelhead stream in WNY to yourself much less the old Dirty Burt!
Couple stocker browns for ol' Bill, nice! That was a thick fish. My biggest on an Erie trib, 10 pound hen. But that fish of MIkes, wow, massive steelhead. Ontario grows them big for sure.
thanks man , definitely bigger fish from the Ontario tribs but my biggest is still a 20lb plus fish from buffalo creek . used get bigger years ago on erie tribs
@@BillMikesAnglingAdventures My daughter and I just got back from Chautauqua, crappie were tight lipped today and scattered. Weather was cloudy and windy... Water was 48º. Got nice smallmouth though.
Wow what a steelhead!!Awesome fish!!Great video guys.Must be nice to fish Burt dam with no one there!Im glad they lowered the limit for brown trout, and incresed the minimum size limit for steelhead there. It should help improve the fishing!!
Great video bill, those small ones were nice, probably a good sign. It was awesome to see my get his pb steelhead! Stay healthy bro, also thanks for doing your job driving man & keeping the world going
tough day for me - lost my only good fish , Mike accidentally broke the net trying to scoop minnows , then mike didn't tell me i was fishing with a piece of minnow on my lip most of the day - was still good to get out fishing
Awesome fish! I had the good fortune to retire early and live across the street from Burt and fish there and other local creeks every day. I got a 32 inch male from Burt last week, not a lot of them around but the ones I have caught there have been big. Have learned a lot from your videos-you guys are great fisherman and I love how you treat your fish, they are a gift! Good luck out there!
Thats an impressive fish. I remember years ago when you could get them that big in Erie tribs. I once got a 16 pound female at the little falls in caz Creek. Nice job guys. Stay safe
thanks man , a lot more 30" plus steelhead back in the 90's and early 2000's . i heard they're cutting the stocking way down but trying to stock fish that will get larger - we'l see how that works out , stay safe
Beautiful steelhead Mike! That's a beast in anyone's book! The season just open over here in Ontario and lucky for us we still had some steelheads in the creeks! Keep those videos coming and looking forward for the salmon season in the fall!
'When's the last time you had Burt to yourself" Lol I have to myself a lot. More than you would think. I would have been there but I said screw the rain. Told yah we were still getting the steelhead.
thats the only time i seen it like that but i dont go when its under 10 degrees out lol . probably be fish for a while with the colder weather. surprised i couldn't find any bass there
If Mike's steelhead is the last steelhead of the spring thats a great one to finish off the season... But being it was still loaded you guys might get another trip or two
Looked miserable out there with the damp weather but it was well worth it. Mike got a massive female. That’s pretty late in the season, I’m usually done by end of March fishing there. Nice to get out for some fresh air, the bass will be in a few weeks. Take care Bill, stay safe:
Bill & Mikes Angling Adventures we should be catching Walleye’s real soon in 15 Fow on swimbaits ! I always look for you guys in that Aluminum boat out on Erie !
Massive hen for sure . from what Im hearing , you guys don`t have fish normally that big?? West Coast we have10 LBS as an average . I would think you guys would have them that big . Great fish just the same
thanks man , might hook into a few fish over 30 " every year but 5 to 8lb fish are usually the norm .i probably caught 7 or 8 over 15 lbs in 35 years and only 1 steelhead over 20 lbs

Nice job guys the turbines are fixed and back on now to
thanks , good to hear
I think Burt is the only place I’d wear a mask regardless of the Virus 😂
its got to be in the top 10 of most toxic places in NY but theres some nice fish to be had
Always a Great time when that Parking lot is empty’ had some of the best luck will no pressure on those remaining Stealhead and Browns.
they should be hanging around for a bit longer with the cooler temps this spring
Bill & Mikes Angling Adventures we should be catching Walleye’s real soon in 15 Fow on swimbaits ! I always look for you guys in that Aluminum boat out on Erie !
should be good early with the lack of ice this past winter
Wow! Massive fish! You should mark your rod with ruler marks. 20" through 35" take a picture of the fish next to the rod.
Good idea!
Nice vid you should do a chatuqua lake night time walleye fishing
thanks , i havn't fished Chautauqua for eyes in years , used to do good at night jig and crawler weed line fishing
Got a few browns two days ago there but no steelhead. One guy got a nice steelhead
